Southern Oaks Counseling, LLC is a company devoted to empower, enrich, inform and enhance the lives of individuals (children, teens, and adults), couples and their families by helping them discover the root of their problem. Southern Oaks Counseling, LLC primarily services to first responders, inmates, and community members over the age of twelve years old. Southern Oaks is a counseling agency who had an office in Evans and Augusta, but since COVID-19 we are virtual only (telephone or HIPAA compliant video). As a result, there is no longer an office assistant so feel free to email, text, or message me non-HIPAA questions or concerns. We currently take a variety of insurances including Tricare,Anthem,Cigna, United Healthcare, Amerigroup, Ambetter, Beacon, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare and many more.

Can we normalize saying:

“We weren’t compatible”
“We wanted different things out of life”
“We weren’t on the same wavelength”
“We didn’t communicate well.”
“Our priorities/values/interests didn’t align.”
“We were holding each other back.”

Instead of accusing every single person you date of being abusive, narcissistic, manipulative, etc?

It’s literally okay for a relationship not to work because two people just aren’t right for each other. There doesn’t have to be a villain.
