Elayne Benson, a third-year PhD candidate with the Immunology Center of Georgia, is studying how olfactory receptors, which are typically associated with smell, may influence melanoma growth and immune response.

Supported by a Paceline grant, her work has the potential to shape new strategies that improve immunotherapy and patient outcomes.
