The Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program The Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is a non-profit agency whose mission is to advocate for quality of life and care for long term care consumers.

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman program serves residents of nursing facilities and assisted housing programs including: residential care facilities and assisted living facilities. In addition, we serve recipients of home care services, adult day services and homemaker services. The Purpose of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman program is to; establish and maintain a presence in long-term care homes, invest

igate and resolve complaints and concerns in long-term care homes and for home care consumers, provide education regarding residents’ rights, and monitor the development of federal and state laws related to long-term care. The Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is here to help with information, guidance and advocacy. Our services are free and confidential. We can't wait to see you today at the 2025 BIAA-ME Brain Injury Resource Fair! The fair runs 12-4 pm at the Augusta Armory (come anytime 12-4 and stay for as long or as little as you'd like), and we'll have over 50 exhibitors for you to explore. Survivors, family members, caregivers, professionals, students, and anyone interested in learning more about Maine brain injury resources, services, and supports are welcome to attend. On-site registration forms are available at the event.
