🥳 ANNOUNCING A NEW SERVICE OFFERING 🥳

About 3 weeks ago a client came in with left shoulder issues. He inquired about having his session time extended from 90 minutes to 2 hours as he finds this length of time most beneficial. I gladly obliged! The session allowed me the time to really focus on the areas that needed more attention and also left plenty of time for deep relaxation and down regulation of his nervous system. Afterwards, he reported improvement in his shoulder discomfort as well as loosening of the more generalized muscle and joint tightness he was feeling when he came in.

Given how much fun I had providing this level of massage and the benefits my client reported, I am now offering a 120 minute massage session to all!!

A 2 hour massage session is recommended if you have an injury or health issue that would benefit from extended focused work and also allow enough time for deep relaxation and nervous system down regulation.

A 60 minute session is ideal for the person looking for deep relaxation and nervous system down regulation or for someone with a time crunch who needs focused work.

A 90 minute session is a wonderful choice for those wanting additional time in deep relaxation or needing some focused work.

So don't put off the health benefits that massage therapy can provide you. Book an appointment with me today! Head to my website to see available dates and times. I look forward to helping you!

Everyone has 2 TMJs (temporomendibular joints)- the hinges on either side of your jaw that allow you to open and close your mouth. Unfortunately, dysfunction of one or both TMJ affects many. Common symptoms of TMJ Dysfunction include:
• Pain or tenderness in the jaw.
• Pain in one or both temporomandibular joints.
• Aching pain in and around the ear.
• Having a hard time chewing or pain while chewing.
• Aching facial pain.
• Locking of the joint, making it hard to open or close your mouth.
• Headache.
• Neck pain.
• Eye pain.
• Tooth pain that occurs along with jaw tenderness.

Massage therapy effectively relieves TMJ pain by targeting tense jaw, neck, shoulder muscles, improving jaw movement, reducing stress, and increasing circulation through techniques like trigger point therapy, friction massage, myofascial release, and even intraoral massage (inside the mouth) for deeper relief.

If you are in need of relief from symptoms related to TMJD, consider scheduling a massage session with me. 😊

And now through December 25th get $20 off your first session.

The lovely client I saw this morning told me how she is usually a little apprehensive about booking a massage. She doesn't like having her back worked on due to touch sensitivity in that area. Previous massage therapists have ignored her request to not have her backed worked on. Needless to say, she didn't find those sessions relaxing or rejuvenating. Any massage therapist worth their weight listens to their client and adapts the massage session to meet that client's specific needs and requests. The massage my client received today honored her request and actively adapted based on feedback she gave throughout the session. It is important to me that my clients leave my office feeling better than when they came in. I wish everyone the gift of good health. 🩷
