It has we been a long week but After 2 long years of waiting Josiah finally had his Neurophysiology appointment. He had to do a bunch of testing to make sure that the chemo he was on didn’t affect his brain he did great on his test, it showed that the vincristine didn’t affect him at all but the methotrexate chemo did on one part of his brain, they doctors arn’t too concerned but they will just keep an eye out as he grows and retest him other than that it was a great day yesterday!

Josiah did such a great job at his appointment everything is looking good so far.
He still needs to gain a little bit of weight but he’s doing good he gained 2 more pounds.
Hes schedualed in janurary to have his annual neuro testing to make sure the chemo didnt affect
His brain and then another test to test the density and strength of his bones
Overall a great day!

Hey y’all soooorry for the long post!
Our son Josiah is a Make - A - Wish Ambassador and starting in August we’re kicking off our wish hero’s campaign! August is our biggest month of fundraising. A child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes, with 3 new children facing critical illnesses each and every hour our need for donations is continuous! Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher fighting chance of survival! When a wish is granted a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope!

That being said!!

This august we’re supporting wish kid Kingsley Join Make-A-Wish Colorado on Thursday, July 24 at Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs for a car parade and ice cream social to celebrate wish kid Kingsley and kick off the Wish Heroes campaign!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

1. We need anybody we can to volunteer to be in the car parade! The bigger the better for these beautiful kids!

2. Come and support Josiah and Kingsley!

After the car parade, attendees will be invited to an ice cream social to meet Kingsley and learn more about how they can become a Wish Hero this August to help grant more wishes for kids like Kingsley. Stay after and enjoy Great Wolf Lodge Water Park with FREE passes for every attendee!

If you’d like to come and support Josiah and Kingsley and many other wish kids please let me know so I can send you details! 🙂

Josiah did such a great job during his check up his blood level was great. His white blood cells were a little low because of his allergies but nothing to be worried about. He has an appointment with the nutritionalist to help him gain more weight and an annual neuropsychology check up to make sure he’s still doing good mentally. Other than that’s he’s a year and a half Cancer Free! 🙂🖤🙂🥹🥹

The day had been so busy that i forgot!

My sweet boy did such a great job today! He’s 14 months cancer free! He’s doing good on his physical therapy, and hes doing great in school, he got his blood drawn and his white blood cells were a little bit elevated because of being sick but nothing to be worried about, he still has to gain a little bit more weight but he’s almost there. His leg pains are hurting him latley but massages and warm baths help overall he’s doing great😊
