✨ Exciting news for our community! ✨

Thanks to the Making Kane County Fit for Kids Grant, we have new gym supplies that will greatly benefit our programs. These supplies are set to enhance the experiences of our School’s Out Club, SAT Live! Program, Circle of Friends, Preschool, Preschool Open Gym, and Open Gym birthday parties.

We are excited to expand our activities to enhance early childhood and youth programs, emphasizing physical activity for community benefit. This initiative offers health advantages and strengthens our community ties. Let's embrace the opportunities these new resources provide! Thank you again Making Kane Fit For Kids! 😃

Northern Illinois Food Bank will once again sponsor the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program. Free meals are available to children 18 years of age and under, and to persons over age 18 who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled at participating sites across Northern Illinois. Making Kane Fit For Kids is requesting proposals for funding supporting projects that increase children's physical activity and healthy eating. Eligible organizations include schools, local non-profits, and other community-based organizations with programs targeting children's health. Projects funded in the past include playgrounds and other recess equipment, gardens and other outdoor spaces, and materials needed for health programs.
