Program: At this year's Luncheon, Missy Franklin will speak frankly about how she rose from the depths of depression to fight her way back to the surface. As part of her journey, Franklin will speak about the first time she spoke openly about depression and the healing power of talking about this taboo subject. Find a copy of the program here.

On October 28th the Johnson Depression Center in the Department of Psychiatry will host its annual luncheon aimed at raising money to fund mental health care in the state of Colorado. This year's event will host swimmer and five-time Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin, who speaks openly about her own mental health struggles and victories.
