This patient underwent thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) on 1/14/2026, where we treated not one, not two, but THREE nodules in a single session.

Initial Nodule Sizes:
• 4.7 cm
• 3.6 cm
• 2.2 cm

Today’s Measurements at Her Initial Follow-Up:
• 3.2 cm
• 1.9 cm
• 1.6 cm

That’s significant reduction already — and this is just the beginning.

One of the most important things patients should understand is that thyroid nodules continue to shrink progressively from the day of RFA up to 12 months post-procedure. What we’re seeing now is early response — continued volume reduction is expected over the coming months.

No surgery.
No general anesthesia.
No thyroid removal.

This patient came to our clinic with a thyroid nodule measuring over 8 cm.

He was clear about one thing:
He wanted to avoid surgery at all costs.

He understood that with a nodule this size, more than one RFA treatment would likely be necessary — and he was fully committed to that plan.

• First RFA treatment: November 2024
• Second RFA treatment: November 2025

We saw him yesterday for his first follow-up after the second treatment… and even we were impressed by the reduction.
