That first symptom. The one that makes your stomach drop. "Here we go again." π
Stop. Pause. Do not spiral yet.
Because that first symptom is your most valuable clinical clue.
Before you reach for a test or call for an antibiotic, ask yourself:
What was happening right before it started? Is there pain before the frequency or after? Any odour or discharge? How often are you actually going? How much urine each time?
That information paints a completely different clinical picture than just "I think I have a UTI."
Start a symptom journal. Write down what is happening in that 24-hour window. Before, during and after. What is worse. What helps.
That detail is what takes you from another antibiotic prescription to an actual root cause diagnosis.
You deserve clarity. Not just another course of treatment that buys you three weeks before it happens again.
