🚨 Nurses Aren’t “Burning Out.” They’re Being Morally Injured.
I’ve sat with nurses who cry in their cars before and after every shift.
Not because they’re too emotional.
But because they’re too unsupported.
✨ Smart. Skilled. Compassionate.
Yet still forced to choose between their license, their ethics, and their paycheck.
This isn’t a resilience issue.
It’s a moral one.
A systemic one.
A leadership failure that asks nurses to do more with less—and punishes them when they break.
Nurses aren’t leaving because they can’t handle the work.
They’re leaving because they’re tired of betraying themselves just to keep the system afloat.
📉 Patient outcomes are suffering.
📉 Morale is shattered.
📉 The soul of nursing is on the line.
🛑 This isn’t just a staffing crisis.
It’s a values crisis.
It’s time to stop managing and start listening with real action.
