Thank you to everyone who joined us for at Pinthouse Brewing. It was a great way to spend the morning moving, learning, and connecting.

We started at the top with the neck and wrists, worked our way into the shoulders, and finished with new techniques around squatting.

The focus was on how to build strength through better positioning and how small changes in technique can make a big difference in what you feel and control.

These classes are about more than just stretching—they’re about understanding your body, improving how your joints move, and carrying those lessons into everyday life.

AUGUST CLASS SCHEDULE 🔄

Here’s how we’re breaking things down at Motive this month—each class with a specific joint focus so your training actually means something.

📅 MONDAY
Spine, Scapula & Shoulder
6:15–7:15 PM w/ Brian
Segmental spine work. Scapular control. Shoulder rotation. Start your week aligned and strong.

📅 WEDNESDAY
Hips & Pelvis
6:15–7:15 PM w/ Brian
Capsular inputs, positional strength, and better movement where it matters—your hips and pelvis.

📅 FRIDAY
Knees, Ankles, & Toes
5:00–6:00 PM w/ Andres
Ground-up control. Tibial rotation, foot mechanics, and knee resilience. Feel the difference every step you take.

📅 SUNDAY
Full-Body Integration
10:15–11:15 AM w/ Brian
Put it all together—spine, hips, shoulders, knees, and feet. Movement that transfers.

Every session builds usable joint strength and real-world control.

We’ve got some exciting news from the Motive Training crew!

Brian Cassady and Stone Talamantas just became certified KINSTRETCH Level 1 instructors.

These two have been training hard behind the scenes—not just physically, but mentally too. Studying the system, practicing their coaching, and stepping deeper into what it means to teach mobility at a high level.

They’ve not only mastered new drills, but also learned how to guide individuals out of discomfort, towards improved movement, and ultimately, to take charge of their own bodies. They’re now prepared to share these invaluable lessons.

To kick off their journey as certified KINSTRETCH Level 1 instructors, Brian and Stone will be hosting free KINSTRETCH mobility classes at our studio in the coming weeks. These classes are not just for our current clients, but also for those who are new to our studio or anyone interested in enhancing their joint health.

Spine Day Recap: Control, Strength, and Segmental Integrity

We don’t just dump into the spine with traditional cat cows; we control and train it, joint by joint.

Tonight’s KINSTRETCH class focused on getting more out of the spine—by actually teaching it to move, segment by segment:

🔹 Lumbar Spine – Intentional Flexion Work

We worked on owning lumbar flexion instead of just pushing into it. Continuous tension, segmental control, and staying active the entire time—not just bracing or collapsing.

🔹 Thoracic Spine – Extension Strategies

We spent time in positions that demanded real effort. Not just lifting the chest, but holding extension with intent and force. These muscles don’t get enough attention, and it shows. We changed that tonight.

🔹 Cervical Spine – Flexion + Retraction Work

To actually flex the neck, you have to open up the back line first—especially around the base of the skull. We focused on accessing that space and reinforcing it with retraction to help train the deep flexors and clean up forward head posture.

KINSTRETCH is officially locked in for July, and we’re keeping it simple, structured, and joint-specific.

🗓 JULY CLASS SCHEDULE:

• Monday @ 6:15 PM – Upper Limb (Shoulders, Scapula, Elbows, Wrists)
• Wednesday @ 6:15 PM – Spine (Lumbar, Thoracic, Cervical)
• Thursday @ 7:00 AM – Lower Limb (Hips, Knees, Ankles, Toes)

Every class is intentional. Every rep is built to help you move better, feel better, and stay strong from the inside out.

We’re also one of the only licensed KINSTRETCH® facilities in Austin, and both Andres and I are the only Level 2 certified instructors teaching under that license in the city. That means you’re getting the real thing, taught the right way.

If you’re new to mobility training, this is where you start.

KINSTRETCH Tonight – 6:15 PM (Upper Body Focus)

Most people train their shoulders with pressing and pulling—but that doesn’t mean their shoulders work the way they should.

Tonight’s class digs into what actually matters:
    •    True shoulder rotation (internal + external).
    •    Scapular control (how your shoulder blade moves).
    •    Elbow and wrist mobility (because your upper body is one system, not three parts).

If overhead work feels off, if your posture sucks, or if your shoulders never feel quite right—this is where things start to improve.

We’re not just stretching—we’re training your joints to move the way they’re supposed to.

I am running a Coiling Core Class tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:00 AM—and your first class is FREE.

This class will teach you the fundamentals of coiling, with a focus on both front-side and back-side coils. These movements form the foundation of rotational strength and control, enabling you to move with greater power, balance, and coordination.

You’ll learn how to:

– Train head-over-foot mechanics
– Access spinal rotation through full-body integration
– Build strength in positions most people avoid
– Use coiling as a workout—not just a concept

Coiling Core Training – Intro Class

June 7th | 8:00 AM | Motive Training ATX

Join us for a 50-minute class that introduces the key principles of Coiling Core Training (CCT)—a rotational movement system built to unlock strength, mobility, and body control from the inside out.

We’ll cover foundational CCT concepts in a workout format that’s scalable for all fitness levels. Expect to move, sweat, and walk away with a better understanding of how your body is supposed to move.

First class is free.

All classes free for Motive Training clients. 💪🏻
