National Autism Day is coming soon!!! On April 2nd we will be lighting up blue! I will not only have something similar to last time where we have everyone dress in blue !! I am also sharing this link with you, it includes a 30 minute quick course created by the Autism Society called "Autism 101". It gives you a baseline of information about Autism and answers lots of commonly asked questions!! It only takes less than an hour of your day :)

With Night to Shine Prom coming up I wanted to remind everyone that training night is Sunday afternoon or if you cannot make it there is a makeup one on Tuesday evening, both located at Austin Ridge Bible Church (bee caves location). Along with that I wanted to continue updates on Betsy DeVos and her inadequate understanding of federal laws that are here to protect students with any type of disability.

We will be having a meeting this Thursday after school discussing how the mentally disabled community will be hurt by the election of Donald Trump.
