· Get some sunlight every day

· Spend time grounding daily (touching the earth with your skin)

The man doesn’t know that there is a snake underneath. The woman doesn’t know that there is a stone crushing the man. The woman thinks: “I am going to fall! And I can’t climb because the snake is going to bite me! Why can’t the man use a little more strength and pull me up!” The man thinks: “I am in so much pain! Yet I’m still pulling you as much as I can! Why don’t you try and climb a little harder!?”
The moral is— you can’t see the pressure the other person is under, and the other person can’t see the pain you’re in. This is life, whether it’s with work, family, feelings or friends, we should try to understand each other. Learn to think differently, perhaps more clearly and communicate better. A little thought and patience goes a long way.
Be kind to people. Everyone we meet is fighting their own battle.
“No one else has access to the world you carry around within yourself; you are its custodian and entrance. No one else can see the world the way you see it. No one else can feel your life the way you feel it. Thus it is impossible to ever compare two people because each stands on such different ground. When you compare yourself to others, you are inviting envy into your consciousness; it can be a dangerous and destructive guest.”
~John O'Donohue
“We pass through this world but once. Few tragedies can be more extensive than the stunting of life, few injustices deeper than the denial of an opportunity to strive or even to hope, by a limit imposed from without, but falsely identified as lying within.”
-Stephen Jay Gould
“Internal and external are ultimately one. When you no longer perceive the world as hostile, there is no more fear, and when there is no more fear, you think, speak and act differently. Love and compassion arise, and they affect the world.”
~Eckhart Tolle
“Understand that sometimes people are not ready or able to face themselves, and so they can’t face you. It’s nothing you did or said, it’s nothing you didn’t do, it’s not a character flaw of yours. Remember we can’t do each other’s journeys. People have the tools they have, that’s all they’ve got to use.”

Few things feel worse than being betrayed, left, or rejected, and yet, most of us will experience all of these at least once. The first time something like this happens is the worst, because we don…

“The quarrel is not between ourselves.
It is within us.
The quarrel is between one’s own desires,
and that which is demanded.
The quarrel is between the body and its longings,
the soul and its terrors,
and the mind yearning to be free.
The quarrel defines us.
It drives us forwards, upwards,
to our knees in prayer.
You must embrace the quarrel.
The quarrel will lead us to the answer.
It is everything we are.”

“we all see the world by some kind of light personal to us, and that light changes our perception. I don’t see clearly. I want to, but I don’t know if I ever truly can.” Shallan
Why I try to focus my mind on now:
I get more done.
I‘m more relaxed.
It keeps me from thinking crap that makes me feel like crap.
It makes it lots easier to appreciate the good.
I’m more likely to focus on things that will help me achieve the life I want.

Fighting Fit Boot Camp - 8 Reasons Why You Must Make A Choice How To Live NOW! : 8 Reasons Why You Must Make A Choice How To Live NOW! The problems only get worse if you wait Last year I went to the dentist for a routine cleaning. Turned out I had some cavities. I found out ...
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee? 🤔
"Well because someone bumped into me, of course!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was _coffee_ in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled _tea_.
*Whatever is inside the cup, is what will spill out.*
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?
Or anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?
You choose! 💯
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.
