Helping Hands KCLP, a talented artist, offers free events, such as painting and craft classes, resume/interview prep, and giveaways.

Despite struggling with chronic pain and rare medical conditions, she remains dedicated to community engagement & sharing love of art. I try to book the events in the private conference room at the local library or other businesses, with climate control when weather isn’t great.

This one really got to me. Seems like whenever I casually talk about my past and what seem like struggles to most,
I always hear “you should write a book”.
I’m going to try to start soon, even if it’s just therapeutic, private, and healing for me.
Every single one of you has a story someone wants to hear. Talk to people & SHARE it! 💕
Many are struggling alone with depression & isolation during this time. Reach out and ask to meet up for coffee if you can. A friendly smile with a dash of human contact can change a life.
