Did you guys know I also do pretty natural soft blondes as well?! Lindsey came in with some gold bands in her hair from doing it at home during lockdown and wanted some of that broken up and to be lighter and more ashy. I balayaged to break up the gold and lighten, then toned with a silver toner. Finished with a long layer cut and we were both so excited about the results!

This red was so bright, that it made it REALLY hard to focus on any other colors. Believe it or not, there is orange, purple, and crimson in there. As pretty as these pictures are, they don't do this color justice.

After a week back at work I've decided to go back to sheltering in place until further notice.

There are three things that are recommended to help keep all of us safe until this has passed. 1. Maintain 6 feet social distancing 2. Wash your hands regularly 3. Wear a face mask at all times when in public. It is impossible to do the first and still do hair, so it's imperative that 2 and 3 are strictly enforced. Unfortunately in a salon it's difficult to control every client, and I wasn't seeing clients take our health and safety as serious as I needed to feel comfortable. Even with strict guidelines in place and being enforced.

Some stylists will feel safe doing your hair, some will not. Please be kind and wear your face mask, not for you, but for everyone else.

Though the state of Texas and Governor Abbott has cleared salons to reopen, I have decided to wait till May 18th to return to work. Please be patient with us as we return, as we'll be taking every precaution to insure our safety and yours.

If you're unable to wait for me to return to work, a few of my co-workers will be returning and will do everything in their power to accommodate everyone who is trying to get in.
