As a Yoga & Mobility Trainer, movement is medicine in my world.
I work with clients from many different movement backgrounds and abilities.
Some clients have a very solid foundation they come into me with: athletes, fit, healthy and aware of themselves.
Other clients come in wanting to learn, looking for guidance to take home with them, needing reassurance that they’re on the right path.
And then I have clients that have been so disconnected from their physical bodies for decades that they are really struggling, dealing with some major health issues and silently suffering, needing to relearn how to listen to themselves, how to trust their bodies language again, so that they can enjoy being physical.
And some have injury and limitations we work around, modify movement patterns for, use props to assist. Some have some deep seated trauma to work through and many just need a space to unwind, unplug, be still, let go, connect, rewire and recharge in.
So my job now is to provide and hold that space to guide my clients through movement patterns and adjust along the way. I watch and observe, I listen and take note, I challenge and explore different movement patterns. And we practice balance, coordination, building strength, releasing tension, rhythmic movement with breath. We practice resting, we practice breathing, we practice just being in the moment in order to open the body, which in turn opens the mind so that we can let go of that stagnant emotion that is blocking and hindering growth.

I found the most beautiful Yoga community on New Years Day 🧘🏻‍♀️ 🙏🏼
As I lay on my mat, surrounded by a room full of beautiful, sweaty yogis, moving in our bodies and signing traditional Kundalini Sanskrit mantras… gentle tears streamed down my face in gratitude and hope.
I think I’ve found a bit of my spark again. Something I’ve been struggling with these past few years. A sense of purpose and passion in my life.
Of course Yoga would be the path to lead me back home to myself again, lol. This practice never seems to leave me astray.
Feeling grateful and re-inspired to live my life on purpose and claim my unique, authentic seat at the table.
Here we go 2024. I’m ready for this next chapter!

🐾 I never really understood it before… That togetherness, that pack feel, that family we’ve become. I so get it now and am grateful for him every damn day.
🐾The brown behind his soft ears. The snuggles when I get home from work. That look when he runs up the trail ahead then gazes back to me for assurance and approval, to be sure that I’m still there. That we’re still together.
🐾 Can’t wait to see you again in a week my love. ✈️
