I’ve been a little MIA lately, and here’s why!

This is Marty! He’s a West Highland Terrier. He is 10 weeks old today! He loves to play and chew and his toys. We are so excited to have a puppy! He’s hypoallergenic because my oldest son is allergic to pets. So far he’s doing great!

We are HUGE Back To The Future fans, so when Marty fit his personality, we were thrilled!!!

Here’s a little tip from one mom to another: get yourself some oils this year. It will help you keep your sanity.

I’ve used oils on my kids since they started school. I’m a homeschool mom, so I’m literally with them 24/7. While I love them and I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep them home with me, I’m also human. I’m not perfect, and I don’t always have the most patience either.

Here’s the truth. Oils make me a better mom. They help me to stay calm, keep it together, and pick me up when I feel like a total failure. They also help my kids to stay focused, calm, and comforted.

Rose Plant Communication Helps Other Plants!

Scientists have long known that plants communicate with each other using aromatic compounds. Fascinatingly, researchers in southern China found that the natural communication between rose plants also benefited surrounding plants.

To test this, they planted rose plants in a to***co field, with a rose-less to***co field as a control. They found that planting a rose plant close to a to***co plant resulted in an important increase in to***co plant molecular defense mechanisms.

Raspberry Puree Recipe:
2 cups raspberries
1/2 cup sugar or honey
1 cup water
Drink:
Sparkling water
Fresh Limes
Lime Essential Oil
Ice if desired
Instructions:
1) In a small saucepan, combine puree ingredients.
2) Cook until sugar has dissolved.
3) Cool and strain.
4) To serve, add raspberry puree (around two tablespoons), ice, juice of one lime, and one to two drops Lime essential oil to a glass. Top with sparkling water.
5) Garnish with limes and raspberries.
