We're sure you've heard of a retinal image, but what does it actually do? The scan captures a detailed image of the back of your eye, allowing our doctors to evaluate the health of the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels. It helps detect and monitor conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, retinal tears, and signs of systemic issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

We find this type of imaging to be extremely valuable and allow us to advise and educate our patients accordingly.
