Pixie Bodyworks

Pixie Bodyworks Austin's source of mat-based massage & bodywork to help you feel your best - whatever best is for yo I decided I had to give this experience to my clients!

Over the last couple of years, I’ve fallen in love with mat-based massage and bodywork modalities - specifically Thai massage and Shiatsu. The effects last SO MUCH LONGER than your typical table massage, and I love the freedom of movement I gain from receiving mat-based sessions. I wouldn’t call myself a follower of tradition - I never do ONLY Swedish or ONLY Deep Tissue or ONLY Trigger Point ther

apies with my work on the table, so that definitely won’t happen on the floor either. Magical Mat-based Massage is my personal blend of tools, techniques, and modalities that create a deeply relaxing, effective, and energizing massage experience. Leave your clothes on, get comfy, and allow me to pull and push you around for a couple hours.

My Story

Hi! I’m Page and I specialize in mat-based massage that I call Lazy Girl’s Yoga.

What my clients (ideally you!) receive is an integrated, intuitive bodywork session. We start by discussing what your goals are or what areas of the body you’d like more attention. I use that information, what you provide on your intake form, your feedback while receiving, and what I feel in the muscle and joint structures when they are moved through range of motion, stretched, or compressed. It’s fairly common for me to zero in on discomfort that my client wasn’t even aware of previously!

This mat-based massage may feel like magic, and sometimes you may be convinced it super is, but the combination of your personal efforts, time, comfort, and being receptive to therapeutic soft-tissue work that genuinely creates positive change.

I’m not a one-trick pony, or a pony at all – that’s not the point. I pull techniques and ideas from every modality I have studied, including books I’ve read, videos, in-person classes, and personal experimentation. These include Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Massage – The Lauterstein Method, Myofascial Release, Orthopedic Protocols & Assessment, Swedish (western bread & butter massage), Deep Tissue, Zero Balancing, and several more.
