Cynthia's first yoga class several years ago was an incredibly transformative experience - on and off her mat and she often wondered what a difference yoga could have made in her formative years. She now feels yoga is one of the best ways of connecting with herself and with others. To Cynthia, family yoga is a perfect pathway to join community, connect, play, breathe and be in the moment while having FUN! She believes that the family that "plays together, stays together." Striving daily to live her life as an example, she spends her time focusing on learning, teaching and giving back to our youth. Her love for children and their playfulness is why she also considers herself a BIG KID at heart! Cynthia believes that yoga is one tool to help them take a break from all of the "noise" that surrounds them daily. She loves helping to create a safe space for children/families while teaching them something they can carry with them their entire lives. After studying Family and Consumer Science at Texas State University, Cynthia received her 30-hour kids and family yoga training in 2016 at The Little Yoga House. She recently completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Costa Rica with Multi Style Yoga International. She is currently an assistant teacher at The Little Yoga House yoga peace school and also teaches private and family yoga.
