Cupping Therapy can tell you a lot about what's going on in certain areas of your body depending on what color your skin turns after application. Here are some examples of healthy and stagnant blood circulation colors.
These cupping marks are discoloration of the skin due to broken blood vessels just beneath the skin, much like a bruise. This indicates the level of blood and Qi stagnation, toxin accumulation, or dampness accumulation in your body. The color and pattern of the marks reflect the level of stagnation in that area. The darker the color, the more stagnation present.
You can add cupping therapy to any massage session with Shane or Katy!

Are you interested in Chiropractic but not a fan of the popping and cracking that comes with an adjustment? Dr. Sarah has just the technique for you! It's called the Activator Technique.
The Activator Method Technique is a gentle, low-force approach to chiropractic care. It does not involve any twisting or popping of your joints. Dr. Sarah uses a spring-loaded, hand-held mechanical instrument called the Activator Adjusting Instrument which allows her to provide a quick, low-force impulse at specific points. The 2 advantages of Activator to Manual Adjustments are that it's high speed and a controlled force.
The instrument is so quick that the body's muscles are less likely to tense up in response, and resist the treatment. The lack of muscle resistance may facilitate the treatment’s effectiveness.
The controlled force is localized and does not put the joint in any compromised positions, such as bending or twisting.

We love using Cupping to assist in our massage therapy sessions! You can add Cupping to any massage session for $25 to help release those extra stubborn tension areas.
Massage Cupping or Vacuum Therapy is the use of glass, plastic, or silicone cups to hold a vacuum on the surface of the skin. This vacuum draws body fluids like blood and lymph to just below the surface of the skin to allow it to get eliminated through the lymphatic system.
Our Massage Therapists sometimes use this technique to assist the client’s muscles in letting go of tension and breaking up fascia (connective tissue) where it is built up in the body.
