I am so glad I found Infinity Wellness Center and Dr. Tenesha Wards, it truly has been life changing. Before I found them, I was exhausted all of the time, couldn't sleep, when I did fall asleep I had horrible night sweats, was always hungry even after eating a big meal, not losing weight no matter what I tried and had achy bones. After Dr. Wards had my blood tested, she knew exactly what was wrong and how to help me heal. We came up with a game plan and now 7 months later, I sleep through the night, get full fast and stay full longer, am slowly losing weight and my achy bones are gone. I am far from being "healed" or where I want to be but I am making strides in the right direction with the help of Dr. Wards and Infinity Wellness Center.
Thrive Women’s Wellness event panelists Vasavi Kumar Unfiltered (business founder, licensed therapist & podcast host), Valerie Plaza (goldenhour_skincare aesthetician), and Tenesha Weine Wards DC (Infinity Wellness Center, founder) will be hosting a live Q&A session, this Saturday! Bring all your wellness questions and join us for an eye-opening discussion.
Here’s round 3 from my Back to Business project! Dr. Tenesha & Dr. Danny, with Infinity Wellness Center, invited me to take some images of them in their new office.

The Infinity Wellness Center provides an amazing array of holistic medicine services including holistic pain, fatigue, insomnia and anxiety help, as well as chiropractic, acupuncture, genetic testing, and nutritional services. Not to mention, their new space was about as serene and calming as it gets!

Thanks again to Austin Young Chamber for continuing to link me up with some amazing members!

How To Survive This Pandemic When You Have Chronic Fatigue by Dr. Tenesha Wards from Infinity Wellness Center
Hello....My name is Ross Pelton and I “Brand” myself as The Natural Pharmacist. Have you heard about BEMER, which stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic Energy Regulation? Bemer is an FDA-Approved Class 1 medical device that is a yoga-like mat that projects low-level pulsed electro-magnetic frequencies (PEMF) into the body. The PEMF cause an increase in vasomotion, which dramatically improves circulation in the 70,000 miles of micro-capillaries throughout the body. Bemer sessions reduce pain and inflammation, increase production of mitochondrial ATP (more energy) and stimulate osteoblasts (stronger bones). Consequently, Bemer is now my #1 recommendation for healthy longevity.

Bemer sessions provide unique and unparalleled health benefits to users…and create a significant new source of income for your practice (you get $1,500 commission for each Bemer sold). Give me a call if you want to learn more. I will accelerate your Bemer learning curve and teach you how Bemer can generate significant new income for your practice. Email me at: [email protected] for more information….. In health & gratitude, Ross (541) 601-1492
You know that saying, “trust your gut”?

What that really means is “trust your vagus nerve.”

The vagus nerve is the longest nerve in the body—a squiggly, shaggy, branching nerve connecting most of the major organs between the brain and colon, like a system of roots or cables.

It is plays a key role in turning off our “fight-or-flight” response.

Essentially, the vagus nerve is the queen of the parasympathetic nervous system.👑

Why is this important❓

When the body is focused on survival:

👉it shuts down nonessential systems, like the digestive and immune systems to allow more energy for emergency functions

👉the brain has trouble focusing on small tasks because energy is directed to focus only on the big picture in order to determine where the threat is coming from

The stress response was intelligently designed to keep us safe during short-term periods of danger.

The problem is, most of us are operating in “fight-or-flight” mode a large portion of the time.🏃🏻‍♂️🐅

Activating the vagus nerve can improve our ability to:

⚡️fight inflammatory disease
⚡️detox effectively
⚡️sharpen our memories
⚡️lessen depression & anxiety
⚡️promote better sleep

So how does it do this❓

Stimulating the vagus nerve has a really powerful effect on slowing the heart rate. Your body senses your breathing and adapts its heart rate in response.

For biohacks on how to activate the vagus nerve and calm the stress response, watch the video interview with me and Dr. Danny of Infinity Wellness Center: https://buff.ly/2SbbRw0
Last week, I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Danny VanNoy of Infinity Wellness Center.

Dr. Danny is a chiropractor who believes in the body’s innate capacity to heal. He is deeply devoted to serving his community from a holistic perspective.

In the interview, we discuss how our bodies can get stuck in the stress response (fight-flight-freeze) when we deal with some kind of trauma over a prolonged period of time.

👉If you’ve ever had the diagnoses of fibromyalgia, chronic pain, or Lyme disease…you’ve been dealing with chronic symptoms over and over again.

👉The stress response can remain on when dealing with chronic symptoms that originate from a virus, bacteria, or toxin, or those that originate from mental or emotional trauma.

Pretty soon, we’re operating from the stress response ALL. THE. TIME.

When in a state of fight-flight-freeze, fueled by cortisol and adrenaline, we’re taking energy away from other vital functions in the body like:
🔹the gut
🔹the immune system
🔹the ability to detox

It is possible to calm the stress response and operate from a place of growth and repair by changing our neurochemicals.

As scientific as that sounds, it’s really as simple as doing some basic, repetitive exercises that unite mind and body to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling to our bodies that we’re SAFE.

How cool is THAT?!😎

Stay tuned until the end to get some tips and tricks from Dr. Danny on how you can make positive changes to your brain TODAY!🧠💫
Dr. T and her staff are amazing! They are not only knowledgeable, but also explain difficult concepts clearly and intelligently. They provide a lot of information to help you and your family with various issues such as detoxification, weight loss, immunity, and so much more!

👩‍⚕️Why did you pursue a career in Natural Medicine? At the age of 3 I knew I would be a doctor since my father is an MD. When I was graduating from undergraduate, I realized I wanted a career in medicine but with a holistic focus that used nutrition, herbs and natural remedies to help people heal! I had already been using a plant-based to help improve my own healing so I knew food and plants were medicine.

🔬What is your main focus in practice? I love love love gut health, skin health and hormone balancing! I also love using energy medicine to help my patients heal emotional and spiritual blocks.

💕What do you love most about working at Infinity Wellness Center? How much space do we have for me to talk about this!? I love working with intelligent and heart-centered people who love what they do and do it well. I pinch myself every day I go to work at Infinity because I have a dream job with a dream team.

🥑What is your favorite healing food? H**p seeds for sure. But I also love berries and microgreens. I think these 3 foods are easy to incorporate and they are so yummy!

💊What is the one supplement /support you could not live without? Digestive herbs and digestive enzymes. When I get stressed, my digestive system has a hard time doing its job so I use these two supplements to keep that system running smoothly.

💪What is your favorite exercise activity? I used to spend more time rock wall climbing before I had kiddos. Now I run around chasing them and our new puppy all day. I want to return to bouldering and rock wall climbing. It truly helps my mind and body when I practice that type of movement.

There’s a lot of new faces around here, and It’s been a minute since we’ve all introduced ourselves😜

Get to know our Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner of , Karly Baughn, FNTP.

👩‍⚕️Why did you pursue a career in Natural Medicine?
My own experiences. After experiencing my own healing through Natural Medicine, right here at Infinity Wellness Center, and the giant impact food had on my own journey, I couldn't sit by and not help other people understand how natural medicine and nutrient dense food can help them feel their best.

🔬What is your main focus in practice?
My main focus in practice is to help people learn to strip out the noise that different foods create in their bodies and allow them to be able to hear how different foods impact their bodies. Once we are able to hear what our body is saying clearly a whole new world opens up.

💕What do you love most about working at Infinity Wellness Center?
The people. The people I get to work with as co-workers and clients at Infinity Wellness Center are absolutely amazing humans. The team we have is truly like a family. When I first decided to become an FNTP, Infinity Wellness Center was my dream - I would often say to my husband "I want to be in a practice like Infinity Wellness Center, and I want to be a part of a team.” Solo practice is great, but as a team we are able to dive much deeper to help our clients find the results and solutions that they are looking for and deserve.

🥑What is your favorite healing food?
I can't pick just one... Beets because they are so nutrient dense and I just feel FANTASTIC when I eat them. I also love that they are so versatile and we can use the entire plant. Avocado is also one of my favorites because it is so versatile and such an amazing fat source (it also travels well!) - smoothies to salads to tacos, it goes with everything and helps provide fuel to our brains and bodies!

💊What is the one supplement /support you could not live without?
Right now I have to say AdrenaCalm, I wear a lot of hats - Woman/ Wife/Mom/ Practitioner/ Student, my body needs all of the adrenal support and good sleep it can get to keep me running optimally and reduce the strain on my adrenals.

💪💪What is your favorite exercise activity?
I love a good morning walk and a quick rowing workout. I can adjust the pace and time of each to what I need and love the mental clarity that I find after!

👩‍⚕️Why did you pursue a career in Natural Medicine?
Seeing my grandfather's experience with his health issues and how he was treated on both sides of the healthcare professional spectrum, not only greatly influenced my career path but how I live my daily life as well.
.
.
🔬What is your main focus in practice?
To lovingly serve those who have lost faith in their body's ability to heal.
.
.
💕What do you love most about working at Infinity Wellness Center?
It is simply the best environment in which I can imagine working! Literally, IWC is what I pictured in my head, even during school, when thinking about how and where I wanted to practice. Dreams do come true y'all!!
.
.
🥑What is your favorite healing food?
Beets are still on top of my list! I use the roots and the greens in as much as I can to help support blood flow, lower blood pressure, and increase exercise performance. They are packed with vitamins & minerals and have a high fiber content. Beets even help support digestion and brain health, a real no-brainer...
.
.
💊What is the one supplement /support you could not live without?
A recent find, but definitely a game-changer: BC-ATP from CellCore Biosciences! It supports mitochondria and ATP output, which helps me with cognitive function, mental clarity/focus, and sustained physical energy.
.
.
💪What is your favorite exercise activity?
Rock climbing. I love climbing outside (with ropes) because it is a mental challenge (willpower, stress handling, etc.) just as much as it is a physical and technical challenge.

Get to know your Infinity practitioners! 🧬♾

There’s a lot of new faces around here, and It’s been a minute since we’ve all introduced ourselves😜

Get to know our fearless leader and the founder of , Dr. Wards.

👩‍⚕️Why did you pursue a career in Natural Medicine?
Long story short - at 15 years old I woke up unable to bend my joints, in severe joint pain and had a rash on my legs. I was quarantined at my Dr's office and bounced around from doctor to doctor until finally a holistic minded doctor diagnosed my with Lyme disease, which was unheard of in Michigan 1994. That began my healing journey in holistic medicine. I’ve also overcome Epstein-Barr virus, Hashimoto’s and leaky gut postpartum after a very stressful pregnancy, Which has led to the creation of our seven month program – The Infinity Way (TM)

🔬What is your main focus in practice?
I support the top 5% most difficult cases that are often written off by other doctors. I founded The Infinity Way™ program to uncover and correct the root cause of chronic fatigue and other patient symptoms such as pain, autoimmunity, Lyme disease and Mold toxicity.

💕What do you love most about working at Infinity Wellness Center?
So many things! I love the team I have created here. Everyone one has high integrity and a clear mission to serve. Also the office's energy and atmosphere. We all support and cheer each other's dreams and mission. But mostly I love our patients, they have the courage to everyday choose themselves and their healing. I am honored to walk along side them on their healing path.

🥑What is your favorite healing food?
Good Fats - I am a big fan of grass-fed butter, avocados and nuts. I try to start my day with all 3. They help my brain think faster and keep me focused all day.

💊What is the one supplement /support you could not live without?
Adrenal support and adaptogenic herbs. Rhodiola and Ginseng have been my go to recently. Owning the clinic, chasing a pre-schooler and being a present wife takes it's toll on my poor little adrenal glands. I don’t see myself EVER going off adrenal support in this fast paced world we live in. It keeps be adapting to the ever changing day to day stresses.

💪💪What is your favorite exercise activity?
I lift weights twice a week, and run 2 to 3 days a week…err its More like a jog. 😜 I find if I don’t work out at least three days a week I feel pretty grumpy!!
