Infinity Wellness Center, office of Dr. Tenesha Weine-Wards, Dr. Lauren Sanchez, and Dr. Danny VanNoy, specializes in determining and healing the core causes of conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and headaches. They also concentrate on supporting female hormones naturally, pre- and post-menopause issues, infertility, and offers prenatal care as well as care for infants and children.

Many patients come to see our Doctors after they have not experienced results with other practitioners. Our success is based on the ability to discover the root cause of a patient's symptoms, at which point we will design an individualized program based on their body's chemistry - resulting in restored energy and enthusiasm for life!

We do this for the patients, and the feedback speaks for itself.

If you're still sick and feel fatigued and depressed, pay attention to this...
..Your Lymph Drainage!

The lymphatic system is CRUCIAL to detoxing and flushing out toxins and infection from our tissues.

If our lymph isn't flowing, nothing is getting cleansed and clogs build up.

You could be doing everything else right, but a struggling lymphatic system could be stopping the whole body from fully healing.

Don’t let Lymph get pushed to the backburner, it could be the catalyst for major healing…

Here are 3 easy ways that you can start to improve your own lymph health at home!

Avoid Inflammatory Foods
You can inadvertently make it harder for your body to heal when it’s battling infection by eating foods that promote inflammation: sugary foods, processed foods, alcohol, caffeine and additives. While reducing inflammatory and high histamine foods, you’ll also want to ADD anti-inflammatory foods and supplements.

Exercise and Sweat Regularly
Like clearing the clogs in plumbing, getting your body moving, blood, flowing, lungs working, and perspiration active can have a huge impact on the ability of your lymphatic system to do it’s job.

Keep Lymph Flowing with Massage and Dry Brushing
Dry brushing helps the lymphatic system by promoting lymph flow and drainage, physically. Gently brushing the skin in strokes from the extremities towards the heart, along the lymph vessels’ path, you can actually help move lymph through the vessels and towards the lymph nodes, where the lymph fluid is processed and purified.

This is for the healer and the healing.

Trauma is stored in the body, we know this. Yet we so easily get caught up in the mental and verbal processing portion of healing. Of course this awareness and recognition is a crucial step in healing, but that doesn't cover everything. We also need to allow our bodies to process the experience and blocked emotional effect, and let it MOVE THROUGH us... The lymphatic system carries and processes toxins and cast offs from tissues to be processed and to MOVE THROUGH. If we are not allowing that which does not serve us anymore to move out and through, we are staying stagnant.

If you have hit a wall in therapy, if you are struggling to move past something that feels irrelevant to your life now, consider spending some energy in helping your lymph system function at it's highest and best ability. In most trauma cases, we need to allow both the emotional AND physical affects of trauma to be processed, which is what our body innately does - we just need to help it every now and then.

If you need a boost, call us to book an appointment with Lacy Falls for MBSR healing.

It really doesn't take much. You can begin improving your lymphatic drainage right now!

It's true that in some serious cases of infection or blockage, certain medicine can be an important part of the recovery process. But for most of us, simple and cost-effective methods can start improving our drainage and lymph functions: get active throughout the day, dry brush yourself and get massaged, lower inflammation by eating anti-inflammatory foods and supplements, and get sweaty!

Have you been ignoring your lymph system? If you think it's one of those things that just works in the background, and isn't worth your attention, think again. With over 800 lymph nodes throughout your body, and a series of vessels that mimics the circulatory system, the healthy functioning of your lymphatic system should definitely be a top priority.

What is Lymph and what does the Lymphatic System do?

A proper functioning lymphatic system is crucial to the health of your immune system and whole-body stability. The lymphatic system runs parallel to the circulatory system, and includes hundreds of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes located throughout the body. This system carries lymph – a clear fluid containing toxins and discard from cells and tissues. Lymphatic fluid also helps to deliver white blood cells throughout the body which are the primary fighter of infections and disease.

The lymphatic system performs crucial functions like oxygenating cells, eliminating waste and detoxing our body from chemicals in our food and environment. Important parts of the lymphatic system include lymph fluid, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, ducts, appendix, bone marrow, spleen, thymus, and tonsils.

It's common for other things to be in the spotlight when we are focusing on healing: GI and digestion, hormonal balance, adrenal regulation... but lymph often gets overlooked. Strange, because our lymphatic system is CRUCIAL to detoxing and flushing out toxins and infection from our tissues.

If our lymph isn't flowing, nothing is getting cleansed and clogs build up.

You could be doing everything else right, but a struggling lymphatic system could be stopping the whole body from fully healing.

We know, we KNOW... there are so many wonderfully tasty, indulgent foods on this list. We're not telling you what to do! If wine & cheese night what's keeping you going, don't let that go🤣 What we're saying is, you don't HAVE to avoid these, especially if you don't have a problem with histamine production or processing.

BUT for those that are suffering with out-of-wack histamine, this is for you. Histamine imbalance can be signaled by symptoms like:
- Recurring rashes
- Hives or Eczema
- Headaches & Migraines
- Frequent allergy symptoms: runny nose & congestion, itchy & watery eyes, sneezing
- Gastrointestinal issues
- Blood Pressure issues
- Trouble breathing
- Increased heart rate
- Irregular menstruation

If any of those sound like things you deal with on a regular basis, you might consider getting tested for histamine intolerance, and doing an elimination diet to see if you your symptoms improve purely by avoiding foods and drinks like these. All the things on this list affect histamine - either they contain a high amount of histamine, or they trigger a histamine response when consumed, or they slow down production of the histamine-clearing enzyme, DAO.

We know avoidance is hard, but is suffering really worth it?

Share with a friend who might need to take a break from any of these!

"Wow the allergies are so bad right now!"

I've said, you've said, we've all said it. But technically this statement isn't accurate. We're not pointing out the grammar just to be high-and-mighty. We want you to recognize the difference between the things that cause allergy response (aka Allergens) and the physical symptoms that trigger in your body (aka Allergies). Here are a few key differences:

Allergy Facts
- Science is unclear "why" allergies are a thing. Researchers have not been able to identify why our bodies mistake certain allergens as threats
- There is evidence that allergies are related to our genetics, and are passed down from our parents and grandparents
- The allergic reaction and allergy symptoms are generally cause by antibodies produced by our immune system as a way to fend of the "attack" of allergens
- The immune response which activates antibodies also triggers histamines from mast cells

Allergen Facts
- The Big 9 Allergens according to the USFDA are peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, eggs, milk, sesame, soy, & wheat
- Allergens from plants are most commonly pollen of trees, grasses, and flowers, but other parts of plants can also trigger immune response (urushiol in poison ivy, poison oak, and mangoes)
- Most people allergic to animals are sensitive to pet dander, but eating animal meat or byproduct can trigger allergy response. Biting insects can also cause allergic reactions - fleas, mosquitos, bed bugs, etc.
- Certain medicines and drugs are common allergens - NSAIDS, penicillin, etc.
- There are hundreds of types of molds that we are exposed to on a regular basis, but not all of them are responsible for causing allergy symptoms: Alternaria, Aspergillus, Cladosporium and Penicillium, are the standard allergens that affect us.

If you suffer from symptoms like headaches, sinus pressure, and itchy eyes, you know how frustrating it can be to find symptom relief from allergies. Here are 5 of our favorite supplements and herbs that can offer relief from seasonal or exposure to allergens:

Stinging Nettle
- Brew a tea made from its leaves or take it as a supplement. Research suggests that stinging nettle reduces the body’s histamine production and related inflammation.
Vitamin C
- A natural antihistamine, Vitamin C boosts the immune system and helps the body react less strongly to allergens.
Quercetin
- Research suggests that quercetin reduces the respiratory effects of allergies. It’s found naturally in many foods and herbs, but is also popular as a supplement.
Spirulina
- This type of blue-green algae is popular for reducing inflammation in the nasal passageways. It’s sold both as a power to mix into other foods or taken as a supplement.
Holy Basil:
- Also called Tulsi, drinking tea or taking a daily supplement of Holy Basil helps your body regulate histamine production.

06/14/2023

One of the challenges in discerning if you have allergies or histamine intolerance is the fact that symptoms can look almost identical. Here, we outline some of the differences between regular allergen response and an overload of histamine in the system:

Allergies:
- When our immune system perceives external substances as toxic or harmful
- Immune response produces histamine which leads to allergy symptoms
- Allergens commonly experienced are pollen, dairy, fish, peanuts, dander, etc.

~versus~

Histamine Intolerance:
- Symptoms can look very similar to allergen response, but can be constant
- An overload of histamine that doesn't get processed out, usually due to low digestive enzyme, diamine oxidase (DAO)
- Genetic variants, medication, and diet can affect production of DOA and lead to histamine intolerance

Do you feel like you may be suffering from allergies OR histamine intolerance? The best way to know for sure is to run tests for allergens, genetics, and digestive enzymes (such as DAO). Call our office and we can order tests to help construct a data-based solution to your symptoms.

Histamine has a bad rap in some circles. With the standard "Have you taken your antihistamine?" response to your allergy complaints, of course you would develop a negative association with histamines - they cause so many problems, right??

The real answer is... complicated.

Histamine is a naturally occurring chemical found primarily in mast cells in the body. It is a neurotransmitter and plays an important role in helping us heal from injuries. Histamine is also a natural component of many foods, a vital part of the immune and nervous systems, and plays an important role in inflammation. Certain plants and animals produce histamine, which can create the reactions we are familiar with: swelling, itchy skin, gastrointestinal issues, flushing and redness, trouble breathing, etc.

A regular amount of histamine is a vital part of our immune response. But too much histamine can cause additional issues.

We absolutely LOVE getting feedback from patients who are willing to share their experiences. One of the strongest avenues that people find and seek functional nutrition support is through hearing about it from a friend or family member. Learning about another's personal experience can be a major factor in someone choosing holistic care over conventional medication and surgery.

This review from Michele says: "Provided amazing and comprehensive care with such kind staff. I highly recommend Infinity Wellness as a part of your overall health care. Dr. Wards' expertise in providing holistic and naturopathic care is exceptional."

Have you told your friends and family about your experiences with Infinity Wellness Center? Do you think they would find relief in our care?

I am so glad I found Infinity Wellness Center and Dr. Tenesha Wards, it truly has been life changing. Before I found them, I was exhausted all of the time, couldn't sleep, when I did fall asleep I had horrible night sweats, was always hungry even after eating a big meal, not losing weight no matter what I tried and had achy bones. After Dr. Wards had my blood tested, she knew exactly what was wrong and how to help me heal. We came up with a game plan and now 7 months later, I sleep through the night, get full fast and stay full longer, am slowly losing weight and my achy bones are gone. I am far from being "healed" or where I want to be but I am making strides in the right direction with the help of Dr. Wards and Infinity Wellness Center.

How To Survive This Pandemic When You Have Chronic Fatigue by Dr. Tenesha Wards from Infinity Wellness Center
Hello....My name is Ross Pelton and I “Brand” myself as The Natural Pharmacist. Have you heard about BEMER, which stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic Energy Regulation? Bemer is an FDA-Approved Class 1 medical device that is a yoga-like mat that projects low-level pulsed electro-magnetic frequencies (PEMF) into the body. The PEMF cause an increase in vasomotion, which dramatically improves circulation in the 70,000 miles of micro-capillaries throughout the body. Bemer sessions reduce pain and inflammation, increase production of mitochondrial ATP (more energy) and stimulate osteoblasts (stronger bones). Consequently, Bemer is now my #1 recommendation for healthy longevity.

Bemer sessions provide unique and unparalleled health benefits to users…and create a significant new source of income for your practice (you get $1,500 commission for each Bemer sold). Give me a call if you want to learn more. I will accelerate your Bemer learning curve and teach you how Bemer can generate significant new income for your practice. You know that saying, “trust your gut”?

What that really means is “trust your vagus nerve.”

The vagus nerve is the longest nerve in the body—a squiggly, shaggy, branching nerve connecting most of the major organs between the brain and colon, like a system of roots or cables.

It is plays a key role in turning off our “fight-or-flight” response.

Essentially, the vagus nerve is the queen of the parasympathetic nervous system.👑

Why is this important❓

When the body is focused on survival:

👉it shuts down nonessential systems, like the digestive and immune systems to allow more energy for emergency functions

👉the brain has trouble focusing on small tasks because energy is directed to focus only on the big picture in order to determine where the threat is coming from

The stress response was intelligently designed to keep us safe during short-term periods of danger.

The problem is, most of us are operating in “fight-or-flight” mode a large portion of the time.🏃🏻‍♂️🐅

Activating the vagus nerve can improve our ability to:

⚡️fight inflammatory disease
⚡️detox effectively
⚡️sharpen our memories
⚡️lessen depression & anxiety
⚡️promote better sleep

So how does it do this❓

Stimulating the vagus nerve has a really powerful effect on slowing the heart rate. Your body senses your breathing and adapts its heart rate in response.

For biohacks on how to activate the vagus nerve and calm the stress response, watch the video interview with me and Dr. Danny of Infinity Wellness Center: https://buff.ly/2SbbRw0
Last week, I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Danny VanNoy of Infinity Wellness Center.

Dr. Danny is a chiropractor who believes in the body’s innate capacity to heal. He is deeply devoted to serving his community from a holistic perspective.

In the interview, we discuss how our bodies can get stuck in the stress response (fight-flight-freeze) when we deal with some kind of trauma over a prolonged period of time.

👉If you’ve ever had the diagnoses of fibromyalgia, chronic pain, or Lyme disease…you’ve been dealing with chronic symptoms over and over again.

👉The stress response can remain on when dealing with chronic symptoms that originate from a virus, bacteria, or toxin, or those that originate from mental or emotional trauma.

Pretty soon, we’re operating from the stress response ALL. THE. TIME.

When in a state of fight-flight-freeze, fueled by cortisol and adrenaline, we’re taking energy away from other vital functions in the body like:
🔹the gut
🔹the immune system
🔹the ability to detox

It is possible to calm the stress response and operate from a place of growth and repair by changing our neurochemicals.

As scientific as that sounds, it’s really as simple as doing some basic, repetitive exercises that unite mind and body to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling to our bodies that we’re SAFE.

How cool is THAT?!😎

Stay tuned until the end to get some tips and tricks from Dr. Danny on how you can make positive changes to your brain TODAY!🧠💫
Dr. T and her staff are amazing! They are not only knowledgeable, but also explain difficult concepts clearly and intelligently. They provide a lot of information to help you and your family with various issues such as detoxification, weight loss, immunity, and so much more!
