Texas Center Point Veterans Services Texas Center Point Veterans Services is a chapter of Center Point Inc which was established in San Rafael, CA in 1971.

Texas Center Point provides women-centered and responsive outreach, assessment, counseling, case management, and vocational readiness services in seven Texas counties (Travis, Williamson, Bell, Lee, Caldwell, Hays, and Bastrop). Our parent company provides a range of cognitive, behavioral, and psychosocial skills training aimed at enhancing personal, moral, and social responsibility. Center Point

Inc has developed educational, vocational, and interpersonal skills to promote personal and social productivity. They have created value-based opportunities which maximize successful pro-social community integration and improve the quality of life. We focus on providing a wide range of services for women Veterans, their dependants, their spouses, and any surviving spouse of a veteran. What we do is assess the client to see what needs they have at that time and we help them with a multitude of services based on those needs. We promote successful community reintegration and family stability through the provision of comprehensive and coordinated supportive services. We provide personally tailored case management for our clients to assist them with a wide range of needs. We provide gender sensitive counseling services for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and family issues while offering complete privacy and confidentiality. We also offer well developed vocational and job placement services which are tailored for individual needs. Referrals to specialized training courses and on the job training programs are available.

“At VA, ensuring that our Veterans receive quality care is our highest priority,” said Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Eric K. Shinseki. “Investing in innovative research that will lead to treatments for PTSD and TBI is critical to providing the care our Veterans have earned and deserve.”

The Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are investing more than $100 million in research to improve diagnosis and treatment of mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
