TIME for REST 😴 is a 7-day Restorative Yoga program developed with busy people in mind!

😌What is Restorative Yoga 💤
Unlike vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga is a passive practice that allows participants to stretch and gently open the muscle fascia with the aim of releasing tension to promote relaxation. Poses are held for longer periods of time, and participants are tasked with releasing effort and unclenching muscles.

Each day we will carve out 10-20 minutes for our self care using a variety of restorative yoga poses and breath techniques to promote relaxation.

Squeeze these short classes in during your lunch break, after dropping off the kids, before bed or whenever you find time!

This program contains 7 days of restorative yoga classes ALL LESS THAN 20 MINUTES LONG.

For myself, I use a combination of practices as needed. Depending on the day or my mood, the practice of dropping in deeper with myself can look like
✍️ journaling out my feelings or reflections on a prompt
🧘🏽‍♀️connecting to my body with yoga or meditation
🗣talking to my therapist
or all the above.

Things I wish I knew while moving through my first awakening + an energetic update⬇️

As we move through the turbulence of the incoming eclipse energy, it may feel like a rug has been pulled from under our feet, so to speak. We may feel chaotic, unsure of ourselves, and well outside of our comfort zones. This is your opportunity to grow.

Awakenings, whether you consider them spiritual or not, bring a higher level of consciousness to the individual, allowing them to see, a birds eye view.

Right now, you may be increasingly aware of patterns of past conditioning that have left us in perpetual cycles. You can choose to continue in these cycles, or with your higher awareness, break the cycles and move towards growth. A new life. A refresh on your path.

The choice is always yours to make 💖

When people start a yoga practice, more often than not it’s because they’re looking to add more movement to their life. But there’s so many benefits to yoga other than just a full body workout. Tbh yoga is wayyyyy more than just a physical practice. With consistency, you will begin to experience the deeper aspects of this ancient practice.

For me, yoga has given me the tools to listen to and understand my body and it’s needs. It’s provided me the ability to drop into my self and become conscious of my attachments, my holdings, my grippings. Even learning to connect my breath with movement provided such a rich understanding of how tension lives and impacts my human container. This simple pairing has provided one of the most integral teachings in my journey of self-discovery.

But what I love most about yoga is that each persons practice is different. What works for me, may not work for you. One style of yoga may be great for someone, but harmful for another.

Moral of the story is to always listen to and find what feels good in YOUR body. Not just in your yoga practice, but in all areas and aspects of your life. Keep shining your light, my friend ✨ we’ve got big things ahead!

How many of us forget that we are in fact electromagnetic ourselves?🤚

Our bodies are electromagnetic, there are electric signals firing all over our body in every moment of our day. Our hearts give off energy which you can be read on an EKG and Brain waves can be sensed with an EEG. These electrical impulses make up part of your electromagnetic field, or your ‘aura’.

Your electromagnetic field is made up of tiny subatomic particles ⚛️ that change with your emotions, your choices, your intentions. Every living thing has an energy field. Every non living thing does too. And when we encounter other energy fields, their subatomic particles overlap with our energy fields and often times, seep into ours.
