That label once warned of heart disease, breast cancer, and dementia. New research shows those risks were overstated when therapy is started at the right time and prescribed appropriately.

This update reflects decades of evidence showing that HRT can support heart, bone, brain, and overall quality of life when individualized to the patient.

While this change applies to FDA-approved HRT, it also highlights how far the science around hormones has come.
