As we grow older, many of us are told that pain and tightness are just part of the aging process, something we must learn to live with. However, this belief often goes unchallenged, leaving us feeling resigned to discomfort and limited mobility.

The truth is, pain and tightness are not inevitable companions of aging; they are signals from our bodies that something needs attention.

When your body isn’t moving well, from a physical trauma, change in activity level or age related circumstances, the brain will adapt and change to keep you moving.

This can look like muscle imbalances, deficients, compensations. The sensation of stiffness, tightness, poor mobility and poor flexibility all to keep you moving due to whatever the onset was for this reaction.

Our bodies are amazing how they can adapt , but this can cause a maladaptive chain reaction to keep you moving, but unfortunately, not moving well and actually getting worse.

A Stretch Mobility Coach addresses the weakness and poor movement patterns. Think of it like fixing the foundation of a house. Once you figure out how to improve your movement and fix the cycle of stiffness and tightness, we can work on flexibility, mobility and strength.

Setting yourself up to move well and feel good for years to come. At any age you should be moving with ease.
