🌟 Meet the Board: Cory Bickham – Clinical Board Member

We’re proud to introduce Cory Bickham, our Clinical Board Member whose journey is a testament to resilience, recovery, and giving back.

A native of Louisiana, Cory grew up in and around Baton Rouge. After nearly two decades of active addiction that began in the mid-90s, Cory sought treatment in Austin in February 2014. Choosing to stay in Austin following treatment, he returned to school and became a clinician—committed to helping others find the same healing and hope he discovered.

With over a decade of experience as both a clinician and director in the addiction treatment field, Cory has witnessed—and navigated—the many changes in the industry. Now, as a member of the TAAP Board, he’s focused on giving back to the profession that gave him a second chance at life.

Outside of his professional role, Cory is all about family, adventure, and the outdoors. He loves exploring with his wife, spending time with their animals, and cheering on LSU sports (football, baseball, or even checkers—if it were televised!). When it’s not football or baseball season, you’ll likely find him fishing Austin-area lakes, reconnecting with his Louisiana roots, and soaking up the peace and serenity that comes with being on the water.

Cory’s passion for recovery, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to service make him an invaluable part of our leadership team.

💜 We are glad to have you on the board, Cory—your story inspires us all!
