We just returned from the Galway Downs Equestrian Center in Temecula, CA for the Fall Destination Defender event hosted by Jaguar/Land Rover — a three-day celebration of adventure, community, music, food, and off-road fun.

Shār was the featured snack of the weekend, and our plastic-free Zero Waste Snacking + new Build Your Own Bar were a huge hit with attendees.

A big shoutout to Andrew Chen, our SoCal brand rep and regional sales manager, for being on the ground, making great connections, and shāring our healthy, delicious snacks with the Defender community.

This week, twin brothers Yetta and Peter had the honor of attending former Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Underground Summit — held on his family’s Regenerative Organic farm.

Over two days, they joined 300 participants, including soil scientists, nutritionists, regenerative organic farmers, and policy leaders — all coming together to discuss how climate change continues to affect our food system and the future of sustainable agriculture.

Hearing from Al Gore, a global leader in environmental action and Nobel Peace Prize winner (2007) for An Inconvenient Truth, was a powerful reminder that true change begins with healthy soil and strong bio diverse eco systems— and that every sustainable choice we make matters.

They left inspired, motivated, and more determined than ever to keep doing what we do best: crafting snacks that are good for your body, and for the planet. 🌎✨

🏔️ History Made.

Shār Ambassador Jim Morrison has become the first person ever to successfully ski Everest’s north face, linking the Hornbein and Japanese Couloirs — a descent once thought impossible.

After two previous attempts in 2023 and 2024, the third time was the charm. On October 15, after more than six weeks on the mountain, Jim descended from the summit of Everest (29,032 ft) to Camp One (19,900 ft) in just over four hours — a record-breaking feat of endurance, precision, and heart.

This journey was deeply personal. Jim had originally planned to complete this climb with his late partner Hilaree Nelson, one of the most accomplished ski mountaineers of her generation and a fellow POW Athlete Alliance Member. At the summit, Jim scattered Hilaree’s ashes and shared a few words before dropping into what’s now considered one of the most audacious ski runs in history.

🎥 His expedition was captured by and Creative Alliance Member Jimmy Chin, whose upcoming documentary will chronicle this extraordinary achievement and Jim’s story.

We’re honored to have fueled such a legendary moment.
As Jim once told us, “I want to bring Shār to the Big E.”
And he did.
