Tech Ridge Oaks celebrated Oktoberfest in style! 🍂

Our residents enjoyed a day full of fun with a German Beer and Root Beer Tasting, Beer Barrel Rolling Race–inspired games, Volksfest Trivia, and even an Armchair Travel adventure to Munich, Germany.

Prost to laughter, learning, and a little taste of Germany right here at home! 🇩🇪

🌟 Another amazing Tech Ridge Oaks + Select Rehabilitation success story! 🌟

We are so proud to share the inspiring journey of one of our incredible residents here at Tech Ridge Oaks! After coming to us from a skilled nursing facility following bilateral below-the-knee amputations, he hadn’t worn his prosthetics or taken a single step in over a year. Through his perseverance, the dedication of our therapy team, and the compassionate support of our staff, he’s now walking again.

Just recently, he took his first 50-foot walk with a walker—an achievement he hadn’t experienced in 18 months. A devoted physician, he dreams of returning home and one day continuing his medical career. His story of resilience and determination has been deeply moving and inspiring for everyone who has been a part of his journey. 💪✨

🌟 Another amazing Tech Ridge Oaks + Select Rehabilitation success story! 🌟

We’re proud to join the launched by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living. This campaign celebrates residents reaching meaningful milestones in their therapy programs — shining a light on the incredible progress happening right here in our community. 💪✨

We are so proud to celebrate the incredible progress of one of our amazing residents! At 96 years young, she joined us at Tech Ridge Oaks after undergoing hip surgery. When she first arrived, she relied on a wheelchair and needed a lot of help for basic tasks like getting in and out of bed or using the restroom. With her strong spirit and determination, along with consistent physical and occupational therapy five days a week, she’s made remarkable strides!

She can now take small, steady steps in the parallel bars with just a little help and complete transfers using a front-wheeled walker with minimal assistance. Her journey is a true inspiration to us all and a beautiful reminder that it’s never too late to grow stronger and more independent!

Residents were all smiles at our first Fall Health Fair! 🍂

Local Home Health and Hospice groups shared valuable information on flu prevention, veteran benefits, fall safety, and more. After picking up handouts and goodies, Emily from our in-house Select Rehab team performed quarterly VST screenings to wrap up the event.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined and helped empower our residents to take charge of their health! 🌟

Celebrating Ms. Gladys for her Miracle Moment! ✨🌱

Every morning, Gladys tends to the Courtyard with love and care, and we wanted to show our appreciation. Carmen presented her with a Certificate of Appreciation, and we unveiled a custom Easy-Up Gardening Seat built with help from Johnnie.

Her smile says it all! She was honored and thrilled that her hard work didn’t go unnoticed! 💛
