The Texas Department of State Health Services has published a new Texas COVID-19 Vaccine Information Statement that must now provide to any patient receiving a COVID-19 immunization. This form is required by House Bill 4535, which took effect September 1. Make sure to provide this new information sheet with every COVID-19 immunization beginning immediately in order to be compliant with this new law! Texas Pharmacy Association staff members attended Wednesday’s meeting of the Bexar County Pharmacy Association at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy in San Antonio. CEO RoxAnn Dominguez provided legislative updates and highlighted the importance of active engagement in TPA. "We were especially pleased to have a strong turnout of students who had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the impact of advocacy on the future of our profession," said BCPA immediate past president Lauren Corrales.
