Qazi Javed, M.D. Integrative Psychiatry-Austin

Dr. Javed trained as a Psychiatrist and specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, before completing his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Iowa. He is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for Psychiatry, as well as for Child and Adolescent Psychiat

ry. In addition, Dr. Javed has a special interest in Integrative Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. He has also worked with individuals and communities in a number of settings, including inpatient hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient settings, such as community mental health centers and private practice. He has also been involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students, advanced nurse practitioners and resident physicians.
