Without a Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) Plan, what you pay for medical care could really add up and cost you a lot more than the cost of one of the Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans. Many people think that you can only sign up for a Medicare Supplemental Insurance Plan at certain times–this is not true. You can actually switch plans or companies at any time. You are not required to wait until the annual Medicare open enrollment period to switch. Every Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) Plan (A-N) sold has the same medical benefits (a medical service paid for the patient by the insurance company).
