Austintown Fireworks Celebration The Austintown Township Fireworks Celebration is a proud tradition that returned to the Austintown Community in 2013.

The Austintown Fireworks have been a long tradition in Austintown Township and were sadly missed when they were discontinued many years ago (2006). In 2013 Austintown Trustee Jim Davis fulfilled a promise to the community to return fireworks to the 4th of July festivities. On July 3rd, 2013 the Austintown Fireworks Celebration came to life when at 10:00pm the sky became the dance floor as the fire

works danced to music. Special thanks to Ed and Diane Reese of Briarfield Healthcare for being the very first sponsor to step forward and help make the fireworks tradition a reality. It’s safe to say… The fireworks have returned and are here to stay! **On behalf of A.G.E. and the Austintown 4th of July Committee, I would like to thank everyone for attending the parade yesterday. We had amazing weather, over 150 vehicles, and 79 total entries, with something for everyone to enjoy.**

A special thank you goes to the incredible Township Police Department and Fire Department, who, by the way, dealt with a fire just minutes before the parade but still made it back in time to celebrate. We also appreciate the Road and Park Departments for their help with setup.

Another huge thanks goes to Highway Tabernacle Church for providing all the amazing volunteers who made the day possible. Highway Tabernacle helps park the vehicles provides food and water and much more behind the scenes. They, along with St. Anne’s Church, graciously allow us to use their parking facilities to stage the vehicles. We’re already working on plans for next year!
