That's a wrap on our Girls Spring Basketball League! Our very first girls' league featured 31 players across four teams: the Fever, Sparks, Storm, and Wings! We are incredibly proud of all these young athletes for their hard work this season and are excited to continue developing our girls' basketball program. A huge thank you to our fantastic coaches and parents who supported us this spring. Special shoutout to the Fever girls for finishing undefeated and scoring an impressive 52 points in their game tonight, holy cow 🤯 Stay tuned for information about our girls' summer league coming soon. Every mile represented hard work, commitment, perseverance, and heart. We are so proud of every student, coach, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this experience unforgettable. 💙🧡

Today was training day for YMCA of Greater Cleveland summer camp counselors! From first-year counselors to seasoned team members, the group spent the day learning not only the fundamentals of creating an outstanding camp experience, but also the values, character and responsibility that come with being a YMCA camp counselor.

It was a day filled with learning, collaboration and team-building as staff prepared to make this summer meaningful, safe and memorable for every child we serve.

Special thanks to YMCA of Greater Cleveland President & CEO Timothy Hilk for kicking off the training — and teaching the legendary Pork Chop Cheer! And thank you to our Youth Development team for leading another energetic and successful training experience.
