You and your dog/s can walk anytime at your own pace.
Keep a record of your walk with an electronic device like GPS, Fit Paws/ Phone app/ Dog FitnessTracker, Fit Bit. Take picture of device with recorded distance with the dog/dogs at end of walk. Dog/dogs pictured next to device like a GPS will work. Records can be sent to me as a CGC evaluator of the FIT DOG Club to count for points for the AKC FIT Dog Title via private message .
If you complete the FIT dog documentation form downloadable form on the AKC site that would help me greatly. . I can leave these forms at the Crow Hill Veterinary clinic to be accessed there if need be . Or you can get them printed out at the library as well by or print from the Jan 13th post that has the documents available on that post .

and chase your favorite on-leash pooper - can be walked or ran. Weather is getting nicer and days longer. Be sure to reach me for the paperwork and take pics of your pups on the walkabout .

Have an opening to do a Star puppy class on Saturdays between 1- 2:30 PM if people want to sign up. 8 weeks to 1 year old.
6 week course

Monday in a couple weeks will be open for Fit dog classes level 1 and 2 between 11 AM to 12:30. or 1 to 2:30 . Level 3 will be available in a few weeks . Need to be 5 months or older. Teaches application of obedience in fun new ways for the dog and owner.
6 week courses.
Looking to do some Fetch or Chute classes as people reach those skill levels.

Wednessday evening are some obedience classes available after 5 PM. 14 - 15 weeks and older for Obed level 1.
6 months and older for Obed level 2 or Level 3.

Students learning new skills . Fitness can = fun. Reward of having the advanced obedience and fitness classes. But yes we teach this.. Small to big dogs can have fun with this . Obedience Level 2 weekday evening class.
Description:. On leash obedience to meet the needs of and pass a test for a Community Canine . Polishing obedience for on leash manners . Beginning distraction proof training for outdoor environments.

Yes yearling Beauty is going "I want those ducks!".... but holding her sit stay like a pro..She was on a Fit Dog Walk/Run in the community.

When :
Wednesday April 8th trying out a class for evenings to help those who cannot come on a weekend and need an evening class. Starting it as 5 PM could slide it to 6 PM for start . Class is 1.5 to 2 hours depending on times needed for later drop-in students . Call or text to get info and enroll at 720-761-8170

The Obedience level 1 class graduated today. CGC tests taken and passed for the three eligible They all get their completion certificates for the Obedience Level 1 . Whisper could not test today as her owner was the teacher.. Oh well she will get it later this year with ease in southern Colorado.

Level 2 Obedience is slated for Wed April 8th 5 PM 1.5 hour class 6 weeks. if anyone wants to bail in you can call or message at 720-761-8170. Be happy to have ya .

AKC Star Puppy taking enrollees for 2026.

Indoor Classes on Crow Hill over by 285.
Looking at a weekday Monday evening after 5 PM for a class as the days get longer. .
Get enough to sign up will do it.
One for a weekend day Saturday or Sunday depending on sign up preferences. Right now Sunday is wide open.
Pups 2 months and up to 1 year old . Prefer to put younger under 6 months old into same age pups. Older pups with older.
This is a Family Dog Program so mixed breed as well as purebred are welcome. Only papers required is proof of shots.
Activities and training to help us keep their brains engaged building lifelong skills and habits to become successful great dogs.
Variety of methods to fit your puppy. We will cover some of the building blocks to teach skills for later showing and competing.
Teaching basics in on leash commands- sit, down, stay, and come as well as outside socialization with people and dogs for your puppy in a safe environment is what this class is about . . A great foundation for later training purposes .
Pups must have proof of current shots to participate. Bring a leash and collar with your pup's favorite high value treats .
Call or text 720-761-8170 (no voice mail) to reserve a spot, and get details of where the class will be held and time.
