Please know I am beyond grateful that many of you and surrounding small communities called upon me and Rural Communities Health & Help, LLC. It has been 6 years of LEARNING how to help the broken, the grieving, the elderly and their families. My last day of officical business was yesterday 10/31/2025. As, I close out this and begin new adventures and await another grandbaby, it truly is my deepest desire that God continue to dwell with you all. I know when we seek him, he seems far at times. Yet he just sits and awaits on his time. So, recall that when you are a worn and weary caregiver, when grief hits your doorstep, when financials seem to take more. Above all recall this. The Lord is truly so loving just to draw nearer. Again, my deepest gratitude for your choice in allowing me to enter your home, have a conversation with you and help meet your needs. Sandra Burgess

Rural Communities Health & Help, LLC has some big changes. When you need to focus on God and still remain in his greater obedience. That my community requires a sacrifice. I have re-vamped my service for such a time, as the Lord is calling me to higher grounds. My new service is as follows

1. Elder Placement Coaching- Meaning let me help you during the hard decisions of placement for your love one into the best suited facility, ALF or Nursing Home.

2. Care Coach for financial resources of elderly, whom may qualify for additional resources.

I no longer offer companionship sitting, or care giver in homes. While it was a hard decision, it is one which is best suited for where the Lord is calling me into a new pasture.

Thank you for over 5 1/2 years of giving me your time, your homes , and allowing me to meet many in the hardest of your personal needs.

Posted with permission. This is my newest blanket and one of my greatest dwellings places. I hang with Mrs. Shilrey Mundt, as she choose Rural Communities Health and Help to help her remain in her home. She is sharp, kind and loves the Lord. The blanket is her story. She is married to the love of her life Mr. William Mundt- A retired Chief Master from the Navy- Wisconsin born ( who was the co founder & main driving force to bring us Baker Metal works). But the blanket tells me that Mrs. Shirley grew up in Pennsylvania, 1 of 5 girls. She retired from Whiting Field. Fun fact her father a coal miner spoke very little English, as her grandparents came to the US from Germany. She is the mom to 4 children, and her face beams with pride when those grandchildren walk in to say "HEY NANNY".

Facts of her blanket
1. She loves the orange the most as it is reminds her of her husband ALF- (William), frequently worn tee shirt.
2. This will be gifted to her first born great grandson and it has many tributes to remind him of a generation before that came from Germany, to Pennsylvania, as well as a great grandfather who served in the Navy and settled into our sweet little growing town of Baker.

I have been blessed to be with them for almost 18 months, and have seen the fruits that "Rural Communities Health and Help, is doing it the Lords way. Live out Matthew 7:12 in all you do."

At Rural Communities Health & Help,LLC -This is not just " The Onion". it is my job. Today was great as Roy meets one of my clients and helps me take the blood pressure. Yet then is the onion. Roy took the picture and just like that the almost 5 year old talks to my 88 year old war veteran" Mr. Blank- we grow onions, I planted corn with my dad and I exercise also "as he is seeing the bike foot peddle, he uses to try and keep his strength going. The highlight of my patients morning and this how you teach them to honor the elderly. Just plant the onions

It matters that make Rural Communities Health & Help, LLC will go one step futher to bring you joy. This picture is buzzards, yes buzzards. Almost 2 years ago I started helping a sweet elderly couple and he told me "hey make sure my Left overs go to the birds" The story continues as we watch them BIRDS fly and soar in for the landing. My 92 year old vet smiles and remarks "my they must have let all of them in Baker know we were back at it". Joy is a perspective.

The song goes " I could have been a cowboy" But, the reality was I could have been a "HOBO" today hitting dirt rodes/ paved highways near to Laurel Hill/ Campton. Another client who served in Korean War/ Vietnam. I am beyond amazed at the men who forged our freedom, that surrounds us. All he said was "Semper Fidelis" which translates to "Always Faithful", as I thanked him. Rural Communities Health & Help,LLC has now served 13 clients whom directly forged our freedom. It is my prayer that I can claim " Always Faithful as Rural Communities Health & Help,LLC lives out Matthew 7:12.

I have traveled this road many days, it is my past and remains my future. Today it leads to a new client just beyond the bridge. Such a blessing to sit with a 91 year old who served in many wars and even Desert Storm. Rural Communities Health & Help,LLC is meeting the needs and I love my home town for supporting my dream.

Her Story: Shared with her permission. Meet my client Joyce Lacey- Kahlei, She was born in Missouri! She holds a Master Degree in Special Education. She moved to Hawaii and retired from being a teacher of special education students. She has become a family member and I relish in my days to help her in the home. Mrs. Joyce has used Rural Communities Health & Help,LLC for almost 2 years.
Fun Facts: Joyce described learning to swim by her dad reading her a Boy Scouts Manual. Yet he could not swim himself.

Matthew 7:12 has been my scripture writtent on my heart. It is simple. I want to love like Jesus did. Today was a great day to deliver some love to those that others have loved on in our community. Don't be denied by your Insurance Company for a valid necessary test. Let me help guide you into the critical facts they consider when needing a test. If the doctor orders it, let's gut the reason for the denial by your notice from the Insurance company, it will tell the story. I have seen it all, from errors in the physician's notes, to the incorrect code, to the untrained staff sending incorrect notes or partial notes. Most denials come with a hard date stamp for your Doctor to appeal in a "Peer to Peer" review with your insurance company, the downside this includes every day and most likely even holidays or when an office is closed. If 15 days is rule , then 15 days is it. Reality is very few Doctors will do a Peer to Peer on your behalf. So, you can do your own appeal as well and some insurance companies will give you 60 days to send in that information. I suggest this let me help you fight for better healthcare, better outcomes, but let's start with the denial letter, then push the doctor to help as your advocate. The Steele Waters Rise home ,will be a hitching post for my next adventure " Bama Blessings". I have been very blessed with Rural Communities Health and Help, and the needs tell me about the worn out caregivers, who need a relief. Why would I think of this. It is simple in my blessings of Rural Communities Health and Help is a river bank of broken families just trying to take care of an aging loved one, and they are living in the moments when the waters need to rise and carry them out of the dark days, as a caregiver. Bama Blessings will be your retreat where the waters rise and Rural Communities Health and Help will offer to be your caregiver for the relief. I am in the early planning stages, we swap places for the days of your relief.
