🐾 6 YEARS. 525 MILES. ONE LITTLE LIFE THAT REFUSED TO BE FORGOTTEN. 🐾

They brought her to us as Kitty.
A quiet cat from Destin…
Thought to be an unfixed female, here for a simple spay and vaccines.

Just another appointment.
Just another day.

Or so we thought.

When we began her exam… something didn’t add up.

Kitty… wasn’t a female.

He was a male. Already neutered.
And then we found it — a microchip.

That’s when everything changed.

We scanned it.
We searched it.

But the company… was gone.
Closed down. No registry. No easy answers.

Most stories end there.

But not this one.

We started digging.
Calling. Emailing. Searching.

One clinic turned into ten.
Ten turned into dozens.

Every lead felt like a dead end.

But we kept going.

Because something about him… said he mattered.

Finally… a break.

Smoky Mountain Animal Clinic in Seymour, Tennessee recognized the chip.

And just like that…
“Kitty” had a name.

Dobby.

Six years ago…
Dobby went missing.

Gone from his home.
Gone from his family.

After months of searching… they believed the worst.

They mourned him.

They let him go.

But Dobby didn’t give up.

Somehow…
Through storms, streets, strangers…

He made it 525 miles
From the Smoky Mountains…
to the beaches of Destin.

Six years.
Six years of surviving.
Six years of a story nobody knew.

Until now.

When we reached his original owner…
there were tears.

Shock. Disbelief.
Hope… they never thought they’d feel again.

Dobby was alive.

Healthy. Safe.

And then came the hardest part.

After everything…
after six years apart…

They made the most selfless decision imaginable.

They chose love over possession.

They chose to let Dobby stay
with the person who has been caring for him…
the person who brought him to us…
the person who unknowingly gave him a second home.

Because sometimes love doesn’t mean bringing them back.

Sometimes, it means knowing they’re safe and letting them stay where they’re also loved.

This is why we scan every microchip.
This is why we don’t stop at “dead ends.”
This is why every single animal matters.

Because behind every “Kitty”…
there might be a Dobby.

A story.
A family.
A life that refuses to be forgotten.

💔➡️❤️

If this story moved you… share it.

You never know who’s still out there searching.

🏖️ BREAKING:
Out-of-town cat claims beach is “PRIVATE”…
locals: “we’ve been here, bro.” 🐾😅

Here’s the thing—
The locals aren’t the problem.
They’re the ones feeding, trapping, caring… and trying to keep things from getting out of control.

Meanwhile, the actual issue?
👉 Cats not getting fixed
👉 Litters popping up like Florida thunderstorms
👉 And suddenly everyone’s stressed out

💡 Real talk (with a little Florida flavor):
You can’t “private beach” your way out of biology.

Cats don’t read signs.
They don’t respect fences.
They definitely don’t care about property lines. 😏
Gated communities don’t prevent heart worms. 🐾

They just… keep multiplying.

So while everyone argues about who belongs where—
the population keeps growing in the background.

✂️ Spay & neuter = the part that actually works:
✔ Fewer surprise litters
✔ Less fighting & spraying
✔ Healthier cats
✔ Way less drama for the people who’ve been dealing with this all along

That’s how you back your locals—
not by pushing cats out… but by fixing the problem. 🐱💙

💥 PRICING:
🐾 Pet Cats – $115 (spay/neuter + rabies + FVRCP)
🐾 Community Cats – $85 (spay/neuter, + rabies vaccine + FVRCP vaccine + Senergy + ear tip)

⚠️ TNR cats must come in traps

😐
Yeah… absolutely not.

APRIL FOOLS.

💔 Kittens are born outside and don’t make it
💔 Shelters are full
💔 People are overwhelmed and don’t know what to do

The truth is simple:

🐾 Spay & neuter stops the chaos before it starts
🐾 It keeps pets healthier
🐾 It protects your home (and your sanity 😅)

🚨 CAT APPOINTMENTS OPEN THIS WEEK 🚨

This face says it all…
👉 “You’re really gonna wait… during kitten season?” 😅

We just opened up limited cat spay & neuter appointments this week in Crestview, and once they’re gone—they’re gone.

🐾 Spay & neuter = fewer unwanted litters
🐾 Healthier, longer lives for your pets
🐾 Real impact on the overpopulation problem we’re seeing every single day

Right now, we’re heading into the busiest time of year…
and every delay = more kittens being born into a system already overwhelmed.

💔 We see it daily
💔 We’re trying to stay ahead of it
💔 But we can’t do it without you

The good news?
✔ Easy drop-off
✔ Home same day
✔ No drawn-out process

⚡ These spots WILL fill fast

Crestview — something good is happening for our community cats. 🐾

We’re excited to introduce Mayport Cats Inc. as it expands its mission from Jacksonville to Crestview.

For years, Mayport Cats has been part of the effort to stabilize community cat populations through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), rescue, and outreach. In the Mayport area of Jacksonville, dedicated volunteers helped reduce colonies that once numbered in the hundreds by focusing on one simple but powerful solution: spay and neuter.

Less suffering.
Fewer unwanted litters.
Healthier cats.
Stronger communities.

Now that same mission is coming to Crestview — not to replace the great work already happening here, but to support it and help it grow.

Our city has been working hard to address the challenges of cat overpopulation, and real progress happens when rescues, veterinarians, volunteers, and the community work together.

That’s what this is about.

Helping the cats nobody sees.
Preventing the litters nobody planned.
And building a community that cares enough to do something about it.

If you believe in compassion, responsibility, and real solutions, we invite you to follow along and get involved.

Share this post so more people know help is here.
