What impact will the new Grove Park Healthcare Center have on traffic?

In short, there is estimated to be less traffic with the redevelopment into a skilled nursing facility. An independent traffic engineer hired to perform a traffic impact study found that “Compared to the previous land use, this redevelopment will generate 172 less trips during the AM peak hours and 22 less trips during the PM peak hours.”

How many jobs will Grove Park Healthcare Center create?

The addition of this new facility will generate employment opportunities for approximately 200 Baltimore City residents as well as internship and training opportunities for those interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare industry. Job opportunities will range from a variety of educational levels and will include positions in environmental services/plant operations and maintenance, dining services, nursing, administration, medical records and physician services.
