Women’s One-Day Retreat is happening Saturday, May 9th at a private home in Bel Air, MD — and it’s going to be a really good day.

We’ll be using Parts Work (IFS) and SoulCollage to get curious about the parts of us that learned to stay small. The one who waits. The one who dims. The one who says, “not yet.”

Not to fix them. Not to rush them.
Just to listen.

“When I don’t know who I am, I serve you. When I know who I am, I am you!”

this blew my mind the first time I heard it. It’s on the Ram Dass documentary on Netflix called Going Home!

we truly are spiritual beings caught in this human body. It’s so hard to realize it. But if you ever had that moment, when you knew that everything in you was loved and everything and everyone else was loved and all is well. Even with all that that’s happening, it’s still perfect. How do we know it’s perfect? How do we know it’s just as it should be, because it is this way. You can’t argue the fact that what is happening is happening. If there’s something you can do to bring more love to it, do it. But if not, stop struggling. Or at least know there is a way to try to stop struggling.

I still struggle. Even though I know the answer to not struggle. Because, I am still in this human form.

It cracks me up when I look at my body from a couple of years ago, where I was thinner and I think how great I looked back then.

And then I remember how I never was happy with my body ever! Not ever!

And certainly that has to do with my own internal system of comparing and self hatred I brought from childhood trauma

But I think it’s a bigger systemic problem as well.

I don’t think we’re called to be healthy, I think we’re called to be thin!

And bodies are all different. Being thin does not always mean you’re healthy.

And I’ve been able to keep a decent weight and eat pretty much how I wanted my whole life. Some of that is shifting now that I’m in my 60s, but I also don’t wanna live the last third of my life, restricting and dieting and trying to shape myself into something that’s just not natural for my own body.

i’d love to hear your thoughts. And I’m not an expert on talking about this so if I’ve offended you, I would love to hear your thoughts so I can learn and grow from it.

I know you’re used to me talking about meditation and peace. But between the crazy men destroying the world and the men we have to contend with every day, I got a little enraged.

I also found it so interesting that the minute an older woman gave this dude a side eye, he totally stopped talking to her.
He knew. They know.

Lately, every time I pick up my phone, my heart rate spikes. Like, just looking at it. The notifications, the social media scroll, the news — it's A LOT.

Anyone else? Just me? (It's definitely not just me.)

So here's what I'm doing about it: I'm going to the Shenandoah Valley for four days in April to put the phone down, breathe some mountain air, and actually hear myself think. And I'd love for you to come with me.

Here are the details...
When: April 16–19, 2026
Where: Shenandoah Valley, VA
Price: $1408 per person (shared room)

This is a small group wellness retreat for women - and yes, we will absolutely be exploring why we can't put the phone down (and a lot of other fascinating things about ourselves) through the lenses of Internal Family Systems (Parts Work), the Enneagram, and Mindfulness.

And don't forget all food made for you and all dishes washed and put away! No meal planning, no chores, just come home to you! We will practice gentle movement with Erin as well as her Yoga Nidra and sound healing. Ahhhhhhhh.Did I mention an indoor pool, spa, and hot tub!?!?

No fixing.
No performing.
Just a few days of actually getting to know yourself - the real you, not the one who doom scrolls at 10pm.

There are only 4 spots left in our shared triple rooms, which are genuinely lovely - spacious, set up with sound machines for real sleep, and we have mandatory quiet time after 10pm each evening so you can actually unwind.
