Minor Expressions recognizes and celebrates World Cerebral Palsy Day! Robert, our special guy who has cerebral palsy, doesn’t let it stop him! With some modifications, support, and adaptations, he can do it all! Robert has the biggest heart and is so empathetic; he brings joy to all who know him! He was blessed with amazing parents and family who are his best advocates. Keep up the great work, Robert, and continue to let your beautiful light shine!

Minor Expressions had a fantastic evening at Top Dog Golf Center. Most were experiencing the driving range for the first time. They all did amazing at exploring something new. They developed motor skills while being social and also practicing skills like taking turns, staying safe, personal space, following directions and being flexible… and most of all having fun with friends.

Minor Expressions had a little 4th themed party! Water gun tie dye, red white and blue noodle team work, starspagled toss and target, and fun food like hot dogs, watermelon , chips and snacks , blue jello and more ! Needed to take more pictures.

What a productive and feel-good day further educating the Rehoboth Beach Patrol on autism and other special needs, highlighting the importance of awareness and the after action. Wonderful discussions were had about recognizing signs that someone may have needs as well as how to interact with them, all while focusing on their safety for a fun day at the beach. The leadership of Captain Jeffrey Giles is truly exceptional and he was very welcoming to me. The lifeguards were focused, enthusiastic about further learning and extremely polite.

It was an extraordinary day with the Bethany Beach Patrol Town of Bethany Beach, further educating lifeguards on Autism awareness and inclusivity for beachgoers with Autism and other special needs. Recognizing signs of individuals with specific needs and learning effective approaches to ensure their safety is monumental. Families and individuals deserve a fun and secure vacation experience, and communicating with lifeguards is essential as they are trained to provide assistance. Captain Joe Donnelly and crew, I appreciate you allowing me to share.
