While the Star Act isn’t on tomorrow's docket, the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW’s fight to end the offset continues. Tomorrow’s hearing covers H.R.6047 and H.R.4077. H.R.6047 would raise SMC and DIC but pays for it by removing the VA home loan funding-fee exemption for disabled veterans (70% or below) on second and later uses of the loan, meaning they would go from paying $0 to paying the fee. WE do NOT support increasing costs on disabled veterans! DAV
