Meri Lotus Doula Collective We are a group of birth workers who are focused on informing mothers on the best ways to promote the birth plan/outcome they desire. What is a doula?

A doula is a woman who assists the mother emotionally & physically during labor. She isn't there to replace the father, just to offer a more vast variety of suggestions as far as what can be done during certain parts of labor to alleviate the discomfort the mother is experiencing. A doula is equipped with a knowledge of birth & a bag full of tricks :-)
