I participated in my first women’s Duathlon in Philadelphia at the age of 50. I worked out with long bike rides and running for months. I thought I was in the best shape of my life.
Little did I know that I wasn’t nourishing my body with enough protein and other nutrients.
It was about 9 years later when I found a nutritional program that not only detoxed my body but maintained and built much-needed muscle, increased my energy level and had me getting a night of restful sleep.
This got me more interested in health and specifically staying healthy. Our bodies were built to heal ourselves, so why were so many people on medication, having chronic pain & inflammation, and dis-ease?
