Yesterday was something special.
I had the chance to race alongside a junior relay team made up of some pretty incredible young athletes—and they took 1st place in their category 🥇
More than the finish, it was about watching them show up with courage, support each other, and push through something hard. This is how confidence is built. This is how lifelong habits begin.
Grateful to witness it up close—and even more grateful that this is the next generation redefining what “fitness” looks like.

Today’s race feels a little different.

I’m competing in a triathlon—but the best part? I’ll be racing alongside my daughter’s relay team. Same events, same energy, just seen through a whole new lens.

There’s something powerful about watching the next generation step into this space—not as spectators, but as participants. Learning what their bodies can do. Pushing through nerves. Experiencing the pride that comes from showing up and finishing something hard.

This is how lifelong fitness begins. Not with perfection, but with exposure, encouragement, and a little bit of courage.

Grateful to share this moment side-by-side—today isn’t just about the race, it’s about passing the baton (literally and figuratively).
