Wellspring is excited to introduce Meghan Pardy, RN, BSN, as Program Director of New Horizons Detox Center. Meghan is a highly versatile and experienced registered nurse with a strong background in multiple medical disciplines. She previously served as Director of Clinical Compliance at Magnolia Assisted Living, ensuring adherence to state regulations through audits, staff education, orientations, and certification oversight, including teaching CRMA courses. Her clinical foundation includes admissions and assessment work at our detox center two years ago, float nursing across multiple units at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, and leadership as Charge Nurse on a high-volume oncology unit. She consistently demonstrates strong assessment skills, adaptability, collaboration, and a consistent commitment to high-quality patient care.

What a great experience! The Together Place is a wonderful asset to this community with their peer recovery supports, community lunches, a warming center that can hold up to 40 individuals during the harsh winter months, and much more support. We're looking forward to the next time😁

Wellspring received a wonderful letter from Chris Olsen with Welcome to Housing, thanking Zach Levesque, Program Manager of the Men’s House, and several clients for their help and hard work. In January, they assisted with large-volume pickups, and in early February, they helped load and remove unusable and damaged items to get them to the transfer station. They greatly appreciated the support and positive impact on their program.

Wellspring attended the first BRCC Hot Stove of the year on Saturday morning at Hollywood Casino. It was a great opportunity to connect and hear updates on what’s happening in Augusta and across local municipalities. Speakers included Edie Smith from Senator King’s office, Dan Cashman of Sutherland-Weston, Marc Guastella, General Manager of Hollywood Casino, Brewer City Councilor Michele Daniels, and Penobscot County Commissioner, Andre Cushing.

Cold and snowy outside, but warm inside at Wellspring. Today our administrative team enjoyed our Third Annual Baked Potato Bar—good food, good conversation, and a chance to connect. Taking care of one another is part of how we stay grounded in the work of supporting recovery every day.
