Hi, all,

Holiday season is soon upon us. Bill is doing very well at the Veteran's Home in Bangor, but he does miss hearing from old friends. If you think of him, please send a card or note to him, he would definitely love that:

I went to visit Bill last Friday, I caught him just waking up from his afternoon nap, but he recognized me right away even with me wearing a mask. He’s doing well, lost some weight. He wanted me to make plan to take him to Olive Garden when I visit next time. 😄

Visitation at the Veteran’s Home in Bangor is very easy, make sure you don’t have covid symptoms, and temperature is taken, then you are good to go. Bill is in Unit B room 14.

I had a nice visit with Bill this afternoon. He looked great, recognized me right away, even though I wore two layers of masks.

It has been almost a year and half since I last saw him.

The visitation is in a well ventilated room. Bill is fully vaccinated, so we could sit closer than 6 feet - it really helped since talking over two layers of masks is not easy. 🙂

For visitation, you call 942-2333 at least 24hr ahead of time, leave name and call back number; then someone will call you back to work out a time.

Good afternoon, Friends of Bill’s. I was contacted by a lady whose mom was raised in Milo/Derby, now lives in Taxes. Her mom wants a copy of the Milo Junction book for Christmas. Bill only had a very limited copies printed, and he does not have any copies left. Do any of you mind to part with your copy? Please PM me and I’ll get you in contact with the lady.
Thank you so much!
