We were delighted to welcome Harp & Soul to play during lunchtime 🎶💛

As part of the Joyful Strings ministry, they shared the love of Jesus through beautiful music played on their stunningly decorated harps. Residents enjoyed a lovely serenade while dining, and many couldn’t help but sing along to their favorite hymns 🙏😊

📬💛 Pen pals come to life 💛📬

Friday was such a special day as we welcomed the third-grade class from St. John Catholic School! 😊✨

All year, students and residents exchanged letters—and this week, they finally got to meet their pen pals in person! This is our second year of this wonderful tradition, and it was heartwarming to see connections grow, with some residents even reuniting with last year’s pen pals. 💌💛

The day was filled with fun activities including a puzzle piece craft, games, snacks, sack lunches, and time spent outdoors enjoying the sunshine before the rain. 🌞🧩

With parents joining in, it truly became a beautiful intergenerational gathering full of laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. 💛✨

We had another great time with our amazing Maintenance Director, Joshua! 😊✨ This month, residents have been busy designing their very own derby cars—sanding, shaping, painting, decorating, and even adding weights! 🎨🔧

The creativity and teamwork have made it so much fun… but word of advice—black outfits and sawdust do NOT mix well! 😂

We can’t wait to see the finished cars! Be sure to join us at the Spring Showcase/Derby Race on April 30th to see these creations in action and find out who takes the win! 🏆✨

Saturday our activity room turned into a T-shirt shop—and it was a hit! 😊💛

One of our resident’s family members from Idle Time Creations brought their heat press along with a wide variety of shirts and fun transfers to choose from. Residents loved picking out their designs and watching the magic happen as their creations were pressed right onto their shirts! 🎨🔥

It was such a fun, hands-on experience, and the excitement is still going—residents are already asking when we can do it again! 😄✨
