At Stronger, our mission is to equip trusted adults with the skills and tools to identify, respond, and connect youth with the right support, especially when a young person is feeling unsafe or expressing thoughts of su***de.

When a youth shares their vulnerable feelings, it’s a big responsibility. Keeping them safe matters, and we want to ensure that every adult in their circle is prepared, confident, and supported in that role.

Boundaries aren’t just good for people, they’re good for business.

When teams lack clear boundaries, emotional bandwidth gets drained fast: communication breaks down, burnout increases, and turnover follows. On the other hand, when boundaries are communicated clearly and consistently, teams have more energy to focus on what matters most, and organizations benefit too.

One thing I often share in workshops: our brains need to believe the boundaries we’re trying to set. Just like in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the thought has to be one our brains can buy into, otherwise, it won’t stick. That’s why practicing new boundaries with intention is key.

Women in the workplace are burning out 🔥at higher rates compared to their male peers, and it has more than doubled since 2019.

While there is no singular reason….

…according to a recent article by CNBC, much can be attributed to gender inequalities such as; single parent families, lower paying jobs, and female dominated industries and the childcare crisis.

This reality is ESSENTIAL for employers to acknowledge not only for recruiting women, but also MAINTAINING them on your team.

Women’s mental health and the added stresses of motherhood are very REAL statistics employers should be honoring.

Having strategies at work to help understand and manage stress and anxiety would be one meaningful place to start. 🖤

Having to navigate the holidays while experiencing stress at home, school, work, or with family, friends, or coworkers can make enjoying the season even more challenging.

And all of those “things,” whether big or small, are carried over into the workplace in how we interact and perform.

Those stressors aren’t all going to go away, but your workplace CAN have strategies, systems, and tools in place to provide a work environment of support and acceptance.

This fall, we’ve been on a mission to bring workplace wellness and mental health education to the forefront through impactful workshops and presentations.
