Even on my days off, I’m with the plants 🌿 Hi, it's Cheryl... and my husband Brad 👋🏽 I wanted to share a few pics of my yard and life. 🌱🥰

🌻 Sundays are my day off from the shop, you can usually find us in the yard at home, growing, harvesting, experimenting, and learning.

🪏 Brad reinvented our front yard removing grass and putting in pollinators, native medicinals and culinary herbs - most we started from seeds. In the back we have raised beds, things growing up lattices... for a future post.

This week's fun includes:

✨ Late-blooming elderflower, calendula, and chamomile for a small tincture.

✨ Garden sage cleaned and dried for our spice cabinet - can I mention this beautiful and super handy strainer bowl from ChickaDee Clays ❣️ They have lots to choose from at Wilson Street Mercantile I love it for rinsing leaves, berries or any small harvest. It lives on my sink full time.

✨ Belly rubs and some cream for Snowball, the fierce cross-eyed hunter... Not our cat but we love him (I love him 🤣)

✨ So many monarchs this year 🦋 and hummingbirds

✨ Ending the day at Bluegrass Sunday at Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden right down the street

This is the heart of how I grow as an herbalist. In my yard, with nature... to understand their gifts.
