Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the professional page of Holger Christian Heap, MS, LPC, NCC.
On behalf of The Wellness Studio, I would like to introduce myself to you as part of the care continuum in the mental health field and as an added resource in our community. I am here to offer services for you, your family members, loved ones, patients, and staff members in the form of outpatient mental health counseling. The Wellness Studio is located at 7472 Highland Road and is home to a highly qualified team of licensed therapists. I am reaching out today to inform you I am accepting new intakes and have immediate availability.
The Wellness Studio, LLC is a mental health counseling private practice that offers individual and family services for children, adolescents, and adults. The studio’s design aesthetics were carefully researched and designed by various local artists and the founders of The Wellness Studio to create an optimal healing environment. The Wellness Studio incorporates psychological wellness and theory with artistic mediums found throughout the studio to promote mental health wellness. Each clinician has areas of interest and specialties which may align with appropriate referrals for the population you serve and your team members.
I have experience working with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, anger, grief, and trauma. I also have experience working with substance abuse issues. I attended LSU for undergraduate studies and received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University. Presently, I am working towards my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at The University of Holy Cross in New Orleans.
I am currently accepting referrals and new clients. I accept private pay and expect to be approved through major insurance plans in the next few weeks.
